Quote:what was the original language of the koran?[/quote:d61777e04c]arabic

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>but then, i guess there are some exemptions to this, eh?[/quote:d61777e04c]no

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>i'm still wondering, what are these suicide bombings all about?[/quote:d61777e04c]freeing our land.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>i've read a book regarding the persecution of Christians mostly in Arab countries.[/quote:d61777e04c]Muslims are humans non the less, you cant blame islam by the wrongs of muslims. Bin laden is a muslim and so am I, yet I disagree with him ALOT.

how would you like me to call christians child molesters? and i'm not taking about christian politicians like you, i'm talking about christian religious leaders, priests.

yet non the less, it is wrong for me to blame your religion for the sins of its followers. same goes both ways.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>is it written in your Koran that Jesus was taken up into heaven before He was crucified and therefore, someone else definitely not HIm was crucified instead?[/quote:d61777e04c]thats what we believe, whether its written in the Qoran or was told by the Prophet, i'm not sure and i'm too lazy to check now.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>i heard there's no account of Jesus' life in the Koran.[/quote:d61777e04c]i think there is. what i know is that there is a whole chapter in the Qoran called Mary, cant remember what it talks about though, but obviously, gonna be something about jesus's life.

wait for someone with more time to answer you about this.

sorry bout that.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>what will you then make out of His resurrection?[/quote:d61777e04c]he will come back at the time of the Dajal (anti-christ), kill him, then rule the muslims and fight against a tribe (or was that two tribes?) that broke out of a mountian in asia. those tribes are in NUMEROUS numbers and jesus and his followers will be hiding in a fortress when Allah would send worms to eat that tribe inside out.

pretty cool huh?

Quote:ok. you have valid answers, but my faith didn't budge. 1. what was the original language of the koran?

2.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>We don't force anybody to convert to Islam. There's no compulsion in Islam.[/quote:16a699a6c5]but then, i guess there are some exemptions to this, eh? but i'm still wondering, what are these suicide bombings all about? i've read a book regarding the persecution of Christians mostly in Arab countries. what's up with that? why are you persecuting nonmuslims? just because their non muslims?(sounds hitlerish to me)

oh hey, got any questions regarding christianity?

3. is it written in your Koran that Jesus was taken up into heaven before He was crucified and therefore, someone else definitely not HIm was crucified instead? i heard there's no account of Jesus' life in the Koran.

4. what will you then make out of His resurrection?[/quote:16a699a6c5]

Again, lets analyze your post one at a time:

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>ok. you have valid answers, but my faith didn't budge.[/quote:16a699a6c5]I know that my answers are valid wa al-hamdu ll'ALLAH.

I am not after your faith and I don't care if it budges or not, simple as that.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>1. what was the original language of the koran?[/quote:16a699a6c5]The language of the Quran was and always will be ARABIC.

The Quran is now translated to ALL languages.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>but then, i guess there are some exemptions to this, eh?[/quote:16a699a6c5]No there isn't any exemptions. There is [u:16a699a6c5]NO[/u:16a699a6c5] compulsion in Islam, simple as that.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>but i'm still wondering, what are these suicide bombings all about?[/quote:16a699a6c5]Remeber what the Irish were doing to the British invaders about a decade ago and you would get an idea what the bombings are about.

P.S. Iresh are considered christians, right?

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>i've read a book regarding the persecution of Christians mostly in Arab countries. what's up with that?[/quote:16a699a6c5]These books are written for people like yourself to give Islam and Muslims a bad image.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>why are you persecuting nonmuslims? just because their non muslims?([u:16a699a6c5]sounds hitlerish to me[/u:16a699a6c5])[/quote:16a699a6c5]What's your source for that information???

What does it [u:16a699a6c5]sound[/u:16a699a6c5] like when you hear what the jews are doing to Palastinians? The surbs did to the Bosnians? The russians to Chichians? The phillipines doing to Muslims? The Americans are doing to Iraqs now?

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>oh hey, got any questions regarding christianity?[/quote:16a699a6c5]No I don't. All I need to know about it is in the Quran and the Prophet Ahadith.

<blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="132" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>3. is it written in your Koran that Jesus was taken up into heaven before He was crucified and therefore, someone else definitely not HIm was crucified instead? i heard there's no account of Jesus' life in the Koran.[/quote:16a699a6c5]Here:

ALLAH (SWT) told us a lot of Ayat (what you know as versus) in the Quran about Jesus (SAAWS), I will mention a few in regards of your question about being crusified and dead, as i said, we know that he (SAAWS) is NOT dead: BTW, 'Isa=Jesus (SAAWS)

Al-Imran (Chapter 2, the following Ayat(versus))

[42] Behold! the angels said: "O Maryam! Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee, chosen thee above the women of all nations.

[43] "O Maryam! worship thy Lord devoutly; prostrate thyself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down."

[44] "[b:16a699a6c5]This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Prophet!) by inspiration: thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Maryam: nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point). [/b:16a699a6c5]

[45] Behold! the angels said: "O Maryam! Allah giveth Thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Al-Masih 'Isa. The son of Maryam, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah;

[46] "He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous."

[47] She said: "O my Lord! how shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: Allah createth what He willeth: [u:16a699a6c5]when He hath decreed a Plan, He but saith to it, `Be', and it is[/u:16a699a6c5]!

[48] "And Allah will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel,

[49] [b:16a699a6c5]"And (appoint him) a Messenger to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave: and I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;[/b:16a699a6c5]

[50] [b:16a699a6c5]"(I have come to you), to attest the Law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear Allah, and obey me.[/b:16a699a6c5]

[51] "[u:16a699a6c5]It is Allah Who is my Lord and your Lord; then worship Him. This is a Way that is straight[/u:16a699a6c5]."

[52] [b:16a699a6c5]When 'Isa found unbelief on their part he said: "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah?[/b:16a699a6c5]" [u:16a699a6c5]Said the disciples[/u:16a699a6c5]: [b:16a699a6c5]"We are Allah's helpers: we believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are [u:16a699a6c5]Muslims[/u:16a699a6c5][/b:16a699a6c5].

[53] "[u:16a699a6c5]Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed, and we follow the Messenger; then write us down among those who bear witness[/u:16a699a6c5]."

[54] [i:16a699a6c5]And (then Unbelievers) plotted and planned, and Allah too planned, and the best of planners is Allah[/i:16a699a6c5].

[55] [b:16a699a6c5]Behold! Allah said: "[u:16a699a6c5]O 'Isa! I will take thee and raise thee to myself and clear thee (of the falsehood) of those who blaspheme[/u:16a699a6c5][/b:16a699a6c5]; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject Faith, to the Day of Resurrection: then shall ye all return unto Me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.

[56] "As to those who reject Faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.

[57] "As to those who believe and work righteousness, Allah will pay them (in full) their reward; but Allah loveth not those who do wrong.

[58] "This is what We rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom."

[59] [u:16a699a6c5][b:16a699a6c5]The similitude of 'Isa before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him "Be": and he was[/b:16a699a6c5][/u:16a699a6c5].

[60] The Truth (comes) from thy Lord alone; so be not of those who doubt.

[61] If anyone disputes in this matter with thee, now after (full) knowledge hath come to thee, [u:16a699a6c5]say[/u:16a699a6c5]: "[b:16a699a6c5]Come! let us gather together - our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie![/b:16a699a6c5]"

[62] [b:16a699a6c5]This is the true account; [u:16a699a6c5]there is no god except Allah[/u:16a699a6c5]; and Allah, He is indeed the Exalted in Power, the Wise[/b:16a699a6c5].

[63] [u:16a699a6c5]But if they turn back, Allah hath full knowledge of those who do mischief[/u:16a699a6c5].

[64] [b:16a699a6c5]Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: that we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will)[/b:16a699a6c5]."[/color:16a699a6c5]

Al-Maidah (Chapter 5 the following Ayat)

<span>[110] [b:16a699a6c5]Then will Allah say: "O 'Isa the son of Maryam! recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel. And behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it, and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the Clear Signs, and the Unbelievers among them said: `This is nothing but evident magic.'[/b:16a699a6c5] </span>

<span>[111] "[b:16a699a6c5]And behold! I inspired the Disciples to have faith in Me and My Messenger; they said, `We have faith, and do thou bear witness that we bow to Allah as [u:16a699a6c5]Muslims[/u:16a699a6c5].[/b:16a699a6c5]'" </span>

<span>[112] [u:16a699a6c5]Behold! the Disciples said: "O 'Isa the son of Maryam! can thy Lord send down to us a Table set (with viands) from heaven?" Said 'Isa: "Fear Allah, if ye have faith[/u:16a699a6c5]." </span>

<span>[113] They said: "We only wish to eat thereof and satisfy our hearts, and to know that thou has indeed told us the truth; and that we ourselves may be witnesses to the miracle." </span>

<span>[114] Said 'Isa the son of Maryam: "O Allah our Lord! send us from heaven a Table set (with viands), that there may be for us - for the first and the last of us - a solemn festival and a Sign from Thee; and provide for our sustenance, for Thou art the best Sustainer (of our needs)." </span>

<span>[115] Allah said: "I will send it down unto you; but if any of you after that resisteth faith, I will punish him with a penalty such as I have not inflicted on any one among all the peoples." </span>

<span>[116] [b:16a699a6c5]And behold! Allah will say: "O 'Isa the son of Maryam! didst thou say unto men, 'Worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah'?[/b:16a699a6c5]" [u:16a699a6c5]He will say:[/u:16a699a6c5] "[b:16a699a6c5]Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, Thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, though I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden.[/b:16a699a6c5] </span>

<span>[117] [b:16a699a6c5]"Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me to say, to wit, 'Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord'; and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when thou didst take me up thou wast the Watcher over them, and Thou art a witness to all things.[/b:16a699a6c5] </span>

<span>[118] "[u:16a699a6c5]If Thou dost punish them, they are Thy servants: if Thou dost forgive them, Thou art the Exalted in power, the Wise[/u:16a699a6c5]." </span>

<span>[119] [u:16a699a6c5]Allah will say[/u:16a699a6c5]: "[b:16a699a6c5]This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath, their eternal home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: that is the great salvation, (The fulfilment of all desires). [/b:16a699a6c5]</span>

<span>[120] [b:16a699a6c5]To Allah doth belong the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, and it is He Who hath power over all things.[/b:16a699a6c5][/color:16a699a6c5]</span>
