Living amongst the Kuffaar
#21

Assalam aleikum

Quote:Abu Dujanah and UmmHabibah in what countries do you live? I am not here to argue with anyone.
The Prophet sallallaahu alayhi wasallam said: Part of being a good muslim is leaving that which does not concern him.

And with respect akhee, where i live does not concern you.

And Eid Mubarak brother.

Narrated 'Aisha

Allah's Apostle said, "An army will invade the Ka'ba and when the invaders reach Al-Baida', all the ground will sink and swallow the whole army." I said, "O Allah's Apostle! How will they sink into the ground while amongst them will be their markets (the people who workedin business and not invaders) and the people not belonging to them?" The Prophet replied, "all of those people will sink but they will be resurrected and judged according to their intentions."

So if a punishment was sent to the Kuffar and there were Muslims among them, they will be judged according to their INTENTIONS and ACTIONS. This is what i understand from what the scholars said concering this issue.

Br. Abu Dujanah, do you not live in the UK? Do you consider it a land of Kufr? From your previous posts as well you call a rally cry for jihad as though you are raising an army, yet you are still on this board. I do not think that you are a hypocrite rather the opposite. You have a burning love for the deen racing through your blood. Because you call for things that you personally do not do, I am inclined to think that you are relatively young and quite inexperienced in life. Possibly still reliant upon your parents for support. There is nothing wrong with this of course. The only way to get life experience is to live more of it. Insha'Allah that will come.

Also Insha'Allah will come with the ability of making dawah in a manner that opens people up instead of putting them on the defensive. I believe you finally made your complete point in the post when you stated:

"Narrated 'Aisha

Allah's Apostle said, "An army will invade the Ka'ba and when the invaders reach Al-Baida', all the ground will sink and swallow the whole army." I said, "O Allah's Apostle! How will they sink into the ground while amongst them will be their markets (the people who workedin business and not invaders) and the people not belonging to them?" The Prophet replied, "all of those people will sink but they will be resurrected and judged according to their intentions."

So if a punishment was sent to the Kuffar and there were Muslims among them, they will be judged according to their INTENTIONS and ACTIONS. This is what i understand from what the scholars said concering this issue."

If this hadith would have been included in the opening post, I doubt that some of the arguing would have risen. May Allah reward you for the knowledge that you bring to the board. May this book knowledge one day merge with the experience of life into a muslim who Insha'Allah will know how to bring Islam to every kind of person and have them listen with an open heart, embracing the pure message of Tawheed. Ameen.

UmmHabibah, why so defensive about stating what country you are in? It is not that big of a deal. If it is a country where there are few muslims, it does not prove anything as as is stated by the hadith that Abu Dujanah quoted. Personally, I enjoy knowing where my brothers and sisters on the board live. If there is any kind of fitnah or disaster that occurs there, then I like to make du'a that everyone is doing okay. It is only a reflection of my love for the ummah that I desire to empathize with those who say, "La ilaha illa Allah."

May Allah Forgive me. I have sinned! May Allah have Mercy on me. I need it to live! May Allah Guide me. I am lost without Him! May we all see the bonds that unite instead of the pettiness that fractures. May Allah Use us to Build a strong ummah through our complete submission to His Will.

I love you all.

You say we should do Dawaah, which Dawaah you mean????

What is Dawaah to you people?

Just some sincere questions.

Why are you so patronising, you talk about life as if your the only one living it.

Everytime when we quote an Ayah or a Hadeeth about the Kuffar you people are so enraged, would you do the same thing as them tawagheet (kings, and his companions etc) who take out the Quranic Ayaat (which talks about Jihaad, etc) so it doesnt offend their jewish friends, i am inclined to think that you would do the same things....(correct me if im wrong)

Why cant we discuss issues that are very important???? Its a crime in your eyes.

Im beginning to dislike this website, seriously. (well the people and their message i guess)

Dan, I am a married woman and one of the conditions that my husband put for me to use a forum as this, is that i don't ask personal things and nor do i give my personal things. I once talked of an illness i had recently with his permission as a warning for us to all remember death. And nothing else.

So i will remind you again, as you are a convert aren't you? and who knows maybe Abu Dujanah isn't the only one who isn't experienced!!

The Prophet sallallaahu alayhi wasallam said: Part of being a good muslim is leaving that which does not concern him.

And regarding this statement.

Quote:If this hadith would have been included in the opening post, I doubt that some of the arguing would have risen.
There would have been NO ARGUMENT if the people on this forum could understand the very easy concept of giving daleel in matters of aqueeda. As opposed to their very misguided opinions.

Ya Allah.

And im still waiting for the daleel???

I will readily admit that I am inexperienced. I have no problem admitting my great lackings.

Relax, my sister. I did not know of the conditions of which your husband allowed you to contribute to this forum. Maybe if you would have been clear and precise when answering Todd's question, I would not have over stepped any boundaries. My apologies. May Allah Forgive me.

Asalaamu alikum sister, well I made you wait a whole 24 hours to get back to you, hope you are having a wonderful Eid by the way.

As for my misguided opinion, it is actually shared by others including Sheiyk Hamza Yusuf, and can be heard in greater detail on the audio cassette series titled 'Education of The Heart.' I can provide a link if you like.

As for where I read that about Muslims in a non-Muslim environment being in Jihad, as I told you this was in the standard textbook titled 'Our Religion is Islam' and is written by Yaiyah Emerick. I do not have a copy at my home to look up exactly what it says, but I can do that for you insha Allah next week if you like. School is out now due to the holiday.

Thanks for your patience sister.
