Alhamdulallad, I want you all to know that I have accepted Islam in my heart. It may be years before I utter the Shahadah, for I still have much to learn, and have difficulties since I still reside with my family. I ask for your prayers and your support. Thank you.

Massallah! First we have Mohammed, then Malik, then Ranwen! Allah has definatly showen them his mercy and the striaght path. Ranwen, let me tell you, you have grasped the strongest handhold in your life! Act very good infront of your family, if they see this, then they will be easy on you. They might even get interested in Islam! Allah SWT guideth whomever he wills. I reverted to islam about 15 years ago, and I enjoy learning and practising it everyday.

Because of our human nature of (not being perfect), we still will be tempted to do things, that are not good as muslims, but we have Allah (the Lord) to call on to help us through.

There is both joy and pain, sunshine and rain, but know that Islam is the True religion, and we love and believe in all of the Prophets( may Allah be pleased with them all), like: MOses (as), Joesph (as), Jesus (as), Abraham (as), just to name a few.

Allah (exalted be HE), has sent each Prophet and Messenger to teach thier poeple of their times, Islam, but as you know there are many different practisies that mankind have created.

I am proud of you, and it is ok, for you to take shahadah when Allah Wills it, come as you are, and try to keep peace with your family always, (that is part of Ilsma), but don't expect them to follow you. Be an example and enjoy being in the Masjids and around good muslims who pray and do righteous deeds.

Keep striving on the straight path and Allah Will give you stronger faith against all of His (creations).

Ask questions many muslims are happy to help you and they will give you some directions.

I think brother AL3a3 meant to tell u that Alhamdulelah as long as the heart accepted and saw the light, then do not delay. Because matter of fact, one of the conditions of taking Shahada is accepting it in heart then saying it with tongue. Dear Ranwen, all praise be to Allah Who helped u cross the most difficult part of the fence. Do not delay your Shahada simply because no one can guarantee to live for one more minute until even I finish typing these lines.

So say it with your tongue here it is:
