totally this is off topic, is the forum u r on using the same kit? I mean like this one? i need some tech advice if u have an idea about this kit.

By same kit you mean if I am using vBulletin? If so no. I am using YaBB and most of it is custom coded and hacked by me so that it functions for more than what the basic script does. What did you want to ask? Maybe I can get the answer for you.

I really appreciate your prompt response. Yes I meant vbulliten I need to know the proper setting for private forums. See I created two private rooms. made the access mask for members to yes for who is allowed and no for who are not. Yet those who are not allowed still access. mind u when i set the forum to private no one can access at all. BTW r a muslim?? will not make a differece just to know how to greet u

Ah, I do not know what to say about the setting, but if there is a group system (where you create memberships and give it a certain name like 'mature') then the setting would be something like - let only 'mature' in. Then you would decide who is mature and who isn't via their profile. Hope that helps.

I am not muslim, but I am need of someone who is so that they can give positive input into certain threads on my forum. Mind you my forum is of many faiths and unlike many others we discuss issues in a respectful way. There are actually many defenders of your faith onboard, but they are not active, hence my looking. If you or another member of the Islamic faith can help I would appreciate it. Built into the forum is an Islamic theme so you would actually feel you were on an Islamic forum. All the best.
