Sponser a Palestinian child
#11
I like to give to the most needy whenever I can. It's not about "being fair". It's about a 17 year old retarded boy living in a refugee camp with his mom, 2 sisters, other brother, and only $50 a month to survive.

You're right,

However, I would like to see Muslims dropping the conspiracy theory that Israel is a Christian implant so as to eventually convert all Muslims, it isn't true, the implant part that is, the conversion ::cough cough:: is, but that will happen when Jesus Christ comes back.

If people can avoid politicising the issue, then we can concentate on the children, hopefully more muslims will donate money to jewish groups instead of thinking about whether that money is going to be used against them.

***** It's all about love. *****

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

John 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

1 Thessalonians 3:12 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:

13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

1 Thessalonians 4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1 Peter 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

1 John 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

2 John 1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

Hi John

Welcome to our forum. About the issue that all of u were talking about. I have something 2 say 2 u John. Did u ever c what's happening over there from Palestinians point of view. Not just the USA media. Well I saw it from both sides. Do u think its fair to just let ppl come in to our house and allow them 2 steal everything and killing ur family and take ur land without even fighting. And when u want 2 get back ur home and ur life they call u a terrorists. What kind of a person is that. Did u ever feel the pain of the ppl who use 2 have homes and now they r homeless. Also they r watching over ppl living in their homes and enjoying life while they starve and live on the streets. Well plz experience it first then start talk about love and hate.

Israeli Incursion Leaves 1,240 Palestinians Homeless: UNRWA

I think this article shows the "love" John is talking about.

Palestinian refugees in Rafah made refugees again following the Israeli raid

"'The recent incursion brings the total number of Palestinians who have been made homeless in Rafah since the beginning of the current intifada to 7,523 .."

NEW YORK - The Israeli demolition of refugee shelters in Rafah camp on the southern Gaza Strip last week has left 1,240 people homeless, United Nations relief workers said today.

Teams working for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said in a statement that Israeli forces demolished 114 refugee shelters and six non-refugee homes during their incursion from 9 to 11 October. Another 117 buildings were damaged, but liveable, the agency said.

“The Agency’s relief and social services office in Rafah camp is struggling to deal with the demand for assistance from the newly homeless, but has so far established that 1,240 individuals were made homeless,” UNRWA said. “The figure of 1,500 issued on Sunday, 12 October, was an initial estimate based on the number of homes demolished, multiplied by average family size.

"The recent incursion brings the total number of Palestinians who have been made homeless in Rafah since the beginning of the current intifada to 7,523,” it added. “The total for the whole of the Gaza Strip now stands at 11,987."

UNRWA said it has been providing the homeless with tents and hot meals, as well as cash to pay rent, but “three years of demolitions has created an acute shortage of property in Rafah.”

The agency said in June last year that Rafah’s registered refugee population was 90,638.

There once was a young man that walked along a beach at low tide. Every time he walked he saw hundreds of star fish stranded on the sand. He would always see an old man walking along the beach tossing star fish back into the sea. He could only save a few of the animals though because there were so many of them on the beach. One day the two men crossed paths.

"Old man," the younger said, "Why do you bother to toss star fish back into the sea? There are so many out here that what you are doing doesn't even matter!"

The old man tossed a star fish into the water and quietly said, "It mattered to that one."
