Jazak Allahu Khairan sister muslimah,
Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullah
Thanks for that. The discussions were rather taking a different path. An end was quite necessary for this.
Sister, Today i woke up and watched bbc news. I could see people gathering in a corner after prayers in Al Azhar mosque and chanting anti-USA slogans. Whats happening in Cairo. I believe you are from cairo, isnt it ?
I was just curious to know if people are taking to streets and Cairo is in disturbances ..
Wasssalam
Ahmed.

Alhamdulelah everything is fine, although this is off the topic of the thread however I will reply here, I just had loads of work at the time I saw your post.
Every Fri, the praying gatherings takes the chance at Al Azhar and start a sort of a mini demonstration, calling for Jihad and making slogans against US. Specially with Isreal attaching Syria, they were even more raged.
But during the peak of Iraq war, riots where even more and security measures were really ver heavy.
I guess that is all I know. I stoped watching the news.
i get frustrated. But no major disturbance, for ex last Sun they had a large organized march in the largest square in Cairo in commemoration of Al Intifada, just normal venting out like in any other city
