Using Allahs Names in your Dua
#1

My cousin started of texting everyone on her list,

"Inshallah I am going to text one name with its meaning and I want everyone to try and incorporate the name in their dua inshaAllah and even attempt to memorise the name and its meaning Inshallah"!

So i have decided to share this with you all!

"He is Allah (God), the Creator, the Originator, The Fashioner, to Him belong the most beautiful names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, do declare His praises and Glory. And He is the Exalted in Might, The Wise. (Quran 59:24)

"The most beautiful names belong to Allah (God): so call on Him by them;..." (Quran 7:180)

First of the 99 names of Allah.

Allah: The God.

Only the truly worshipped God is named Allah.

Allah is the only One Almighty and He alone is worthy of worship.

"To Allah belongs what is in the heavens and the earth. Surely, it is Allah who is free of all needs, worthy of every praise."

[surahLuqman ayah 26]

So praise Allah in your duas and thank Allah for everything He has done for you InshaAllah.

99 names of Allah

Ar-Rahman: The Beneficient/Gracious/

Merciful

- He who wills goodness for all His creatures.

Ar-Raheem: The Merciful

Ar-Rahman and Ar-Raheem are two names derived from Ar-Rahmah (the mercy).

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, "Allah has divided mercy into one hundred parts; and He retained with Him ninety-nine parts, and sent down to earth one part. Through this one part creatures deal with one another with compassion, so much so that an animal lifts its hoof over its young lest it should hurt it".

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

[Tasmiyyah: Bismillah]

"All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of all that exists. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The Owner of the Day of Recompense."

[surat ul Fatiha ayats 1-3]

Derived from the word Quds which means pure.

He is the One who is far removed from any imperfection.

"There is no one equal to or comparable to Him."

[surat ul Ikhlas ayah 3]

"All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth proclaim the purity of Allah, the Sovereign, the Supreme in Holliness, the All Mighty, the All Wise."

He is the source of everything peaceful. Only Allah can grant you peace.
