Prohibition of Pork
#1

Bismillah: Assalamo Alikum.

In the two parts video attached, you will see a proclamation of a Christian missionary who is addressing his huge congregation and informing them that Pork is prohibited according to the Christian scriptures.

Anyone against what he says?

VERY INTERESTING...

I have read in the bible where it is prohibited (leviticus 11:7) but most people that I told about it, they always explained it away with explanations that were not backed by any source other than "The Pastor Said". But this is the first that I have ever heard anyone admit it.

I would love to hear what other Christians have to say on the topic

Bismillah: Assalamo ALikum.

Pork is also prohibited in Deuteronomy 14:8. and in Isaiah 65:2-4 & 66:17

"<b>The pig is also unclean; although it has a split hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses</b>." Deut 14:8

"2 <b>All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations-- 3 a people who continually provoke me to my very face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick; 4 who sit among the graves and spend their nights keeping secret vigil; who eat the flesh of pigs, and whose pots hold broth of unclean meat</b>;" Isa 65:2-4

"<b>Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following the one in the midst of those who eat the flesh of pigs and rats and other abominable things--they will meet their end together," declares the Lord.</b>" Isa 66:17

Normally the Christians say that they do not abide anymore by the law of the Old Testament, in which they are actually contradicting what their Master (Jesus pbuh) himself says in Matthew 5:17, that he did not come to abolish the law or the prophets, but he came to fulfill them.

They will always base their arguments on what Paul said instead, who himself contradicts lots of the teachings of Jesus pbuh. And so it was really amazing to watch this video and to hear the acknowledgement of a “<b>born again</b>” Christian missionary about the prohibition of pork.

Let us see how our Christian members would react to his statements.
