Yeah he has done alot of weird things in the past, but didn't he embrace Islam at the end? I guess!

We must be careful if he was muslim which I have heard before... but also heard dismissed.


This man experienced a world of pain and abuse as a child so his being this different is not surprising. His father figure called him ugly and beat him. Telling him how ugly his nose is (hence the plastic surgery). While on the road performing with his brothers as young as six, his older brothers would bring groupies into their shared room and have sex with them while this poor little boy was there.


Most of us have not experienced half the emotional and social hardships that he had to endure so let us have only Allah Judge him now because that is all there is left for him anyway. Let us not have to give any of our deeds up because we have backbited him. Let us make du'a that if he was muslim that Allah will have Mercy upon him.


Beyond that, let's take this death, as a anyone else's death, that we ALL will die.


What have I done today to ensure me Afterlife?

Me too I learnt about his reversion, then sort of not true. Exactly Dan, even when his reversion was being probagated, I had little to say. I m not into bubling up Islam when celebrities join, because it is an honor for them not vice versa.


Sobhan Allah for all the pain this man went thru. And Alhamduellah Who Pardoned us from what He Inflicted upon others.


If he was muslim, Insh a Allah he will find rest after all.

BTW, i was not trying to make a big deal about hish death, we will all die as Dan rightly says, only I was reporting a 'current affair news' in which it happens to be the death of a famous person.

Im so with with this guy! I dont have television at home, but when I am in public places that play 'news' channels, all we see is Michael Jackson. When he ws alive he was more or less an object of ridicule, now that hes dead hes suddenly one of the most important figures of our time??? For what?? The whole thing is ridiculous.


Alot of people have disturbed childhoods, alot of people can sing and dance. And the people who REALLY deserve world recognition are people who's names we will never know. But Allah knows them and that is what matters.
