"Good Christians" and "bad Christians"
#1

Wel_mel_2 did a post a few days ago (now deleted, apparently, since I cannot find it) where he said there are two types of Christians (basically, "good" Christians and "evil" Christians), and that the vast majority of Christians fall into the "evil" Christian category.

Q1: What criteria do muslims use to differentiate between good and evil Christians?

Q2: Are muslim males allowed to marry both good and evil Christians, or are they only allowed to marry good Christians?

Q3: Do "good" Christians go to heaven when they die?

Yes I guess your posts will be deleted if you will always try to go off topics.

Quote:he said there are two types of Christians (basically, "good" Christians and "evil" Christians), and that the vast majority of Christians fall into the "evil" Christian category.

The Qur’an says that among the people of the book (Jews and Christians) there are believers and good hearted people but the majority of them are perverted transgressors.

<b>…..among them (people of the book) are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.</b> Qur'an 3: 110

Quote:Q1: What criteria do muslims use to differentiate between good and evil Christians?

If you read your Bible for example, Jesus pbuh says in Mathew chapter 7

<b>16 By their fruits you will know them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?</b>

17 Just so, every good tree bears good fruit, and a rotten tree bears bad fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree bear good fruit.

19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

20 So by their fruits you will know them.

And so in the same manner, we can easily identify those who are ‘<i>good</i>’ from those who are “<i>bad</i>”, by their actions towards Muslims and their beliefs, and I guess you may have watched those American Evangelists on their TV shows where they’ve intentionally attacked , mocked our faith and promoted false teachings about Islam and Muhammad pbuh, but Alhamdulelah, Islam still growing everyday in America, <b>because the work of those bad evangelists is like this tree that does not bear good fruit and so insh a Allah it will be cut down and thrown into fire according to the description of Jesus pbuh in your Bible. </b>

Quote:Q2: Are muslim males allowed to marry both good and evil Christians, or are they only allowed to marry good Christians?

We are allowed to marry from NASARAS who are <b>BELIEVERS</b>, which means to believe in:

1. One True God

2. His Angels

3. <b>T</b><b>he Books that Allah has revealed</b>, not the man made ones.

4. <b>All</b> His Prophets

5. The Afterlife

6. Devin Decree and Destiny

Quote:Q3: Do "good" Christians go to heaven when they die?

Good Christians does not need to be Christians now, they have to recognize the final message of Allah (ISLAM) in order to complete their faith.

It appears you are saying that modern day "good" Christians must convert to Islam (i.e., they are muslim, not Christian). So, then, you believe that:

1) all modern day Christians are, by definition, evil transgressors

2) since all modern day Christians are evil transtressors, muslims are no longer permitted to marry Christians

3) since all modern day Christians are evil transgressors, all modern day Christians go to hell.

Correct?

The are actually <b>Muslims at heart</b>, I've seen many of them, almost every week they are declaring their Shahadah in Hong Kong (Ammar Mosque)

No, I did not say that.

Quote:2) since all modern day Christians are evil transtressors, muslims are no longer permitted to marry Christians

They should not marry them unless they are going to present Islam to them and encourage them to join the fold of Islam, otherwise they might face lots of problems in the future.

I guess Jesus pbuh in your Bible has given you the answer on this question, he said:

<b>Mathew 7 22-23</b>

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, <b>have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?</b> And then will <b>I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me,</b> ye that work iniquity.

He is not going to tell Muslims <i>I never knew you</i>, or to the Hindus, <b>but to you Christians</b>, who insist that he is LORD instead of the One True LORD that Jesus himself worshipped.

Wael, While I have no problem with you dialoguing about the merits of the Bible, I do take offense to the misinterpretation you attempt to apply to the Scriptures. I notice you spent some time in Matthew striving to prove your point, but you did not mention ALL of what Jesus Christ had to say in this chapter...for instance:

Matthew 7:24

(24) <b>Anyone who hears and obeys these teachings of mine is like a wise person who built a house on solid rock.</b>

and also....

Matthew 7:26

(26) <b>Anyone who hears my teachings and doesn't obey them is like a foolish person who built a house on sand.</b>

Obediance is the "fruit" Jesus Christ was speaking about in verses (16-20) that you quoted. And that is the way we can tell "good" Christians from "evil" Christians. I'm glad to see you as a muslim acknowledge the standard that the Bible sets. My question now to you is: Since you have read these words, will you obey his commands? Or will you prove yourself by the fruit you bear? (verse 20).

Christians normally abuse each other for "<b>interpreting</b>" the Bible differently because each denomination has got its own <i>interpretation</i> of the Bible, so why should you bother when I too come with my own interpretation which I call it <b>UNDERSTANDING</b> of the Christians Bible and not really interpretation.

Yes I am prepared to follow Jesus pbuh, <b>but he himself does not want to teach me as a “gentile” or “Non Jew” </b>he said in the same chapter: "<b>Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine</b>… means he was not preaching to the entire nations on earth but to the JEWS, now I am asking, are you a JEW? He also said before that <b>I was not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel</b>… are you belonging to that “lost sheep’??

So according to his own words, he came only to the Jewish people, but as for Muhammad pbuh he came as a mercy to the whole worlds, and so you as a good Christian, should follow and obey the last messenger of Allah who came to confirm the message of all previous messengers...
