Bismillah

Alsalam alaikom, well it seems I am the only one who did not interact here  , anyways I echo the words of Dan, if we want to ban anyone we would have banned john long time ago before CC, yes I got very upset and mad at his words, but I did remember the attitude of our prophet(Peace be upon him) and how he acted with his enemies with humbleness and patience, and since he is my role model I will follow his steps, You are welcome back CC, as long as u do not cross the border as you said.

Salam

Brothers and sisters, actually I dont want to be repetitive, but logically speaking, they are not expected to respect Allah, for someone like John, whereas, for Nazarines, they are not expected to respect our dear, beloved, teacher and role model Mohammad, the best of mankind blessing and peace be upon him. If the former respected Allah and the presence of Allah, this would be first step towards believing, if the latter respected Mohammad blessing and peace be upon him it will be equally first step towards becoming a Muslim and realising Allah Is One, Eassa is a Messenger. Thus, we are requested to realise this and keep it in mind.

Asalaamu alikum.

You have a point but weather they respect Allah and His messenger or not, they should have respect for the people whom they are speaking with. This is a board for Islam after all.

My personal opinion is that alot of the beliefs of hindus are stupid, but if I were at a hindu forum attempting to dialogue with them I would have to do that in a polite manner and respectful manner. If I didnt pretty soon nobody will want to talk with me. This is no different.

Yes, when somebody calls our Prophet a derogatory name it makes us feel angry for the sake of the Prophet, but it is also a personal insult. And I think people, simply out of good taste, should refrain from that type of behavior. Its not necessary anyhow.
