Assalamu Alaikum my Muslim friends...

Remember me?

I'm glad I stumbled over this thread :)

Firstly, I think I've misunderstood the article. From what I gather there's no money involved... it's a <i>donation</i>. But for arguments sake let's say that the program is marketing these toys.

Okay... so the way I see it, God can transcend absolutely anything... including talking action figures.

I pay my Theology lecturers & authors thousands of dollars annually to teach me about Christianity but I never think for one second that they're using Jesus Christ to make money.

I understand that this kind of thing is strictly forbidden in Islam & that's fine but I guess it just goes to show that we have different perspectives. Personally, I wouldn't worry about this too much... especially if I'm not a Christian. At the end of the day only God can judge the intentions of all involved. This issue has little (if any) relevance for someone who is deeply immersed in Christianity like I am.

Peace & love from Lebanon xoxo

I guess we know very well, that Christians (and Non Muslims in general) don't bother themselves too much about Jesus being called a toy. Jesus pbuh, whom you consider to be GOD ALMIGHTY in the flesh, was <b>lowered to the status of a toy and you see no problem at all. </b>

I expect later on to see in the stors "<i>Jesus burger</i>" or "<i>Jesus fries</i>" :popc1: and maybe after 20 years of inventing these products, they will be called HOLY.

I bet you are not glad to see me again FHC huh :P

Subhan Allah, this is the first time I see this thread, hasbuna Allah wa ni'ma Al-Wakeel, they reached to that point, Subhan Allah, what is left they left no respect for any Prophet or Messenger, we Muslims love Jesus more than christians, we respect him and never try to mock him, he is a great personality, and really they r going so far.

And just as I expected, I've seen a picture of “<i>the supposed Jesus</i>” inside one Church in the Philippines, Just recently, showing Jesus instead of carrying his Cross, he is carrying <b>the letter M of McDonalds</b>. Where did I see this photo???<b> INSIDE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IN THE PHILIPPINES</b>..

Quote:Don't forget the Jesus soap on a rope. It has a nice little catch phrase too, "Cleanliness is next to godliness, so be sure you scrub well with your Jesus on a rope!"
