OOO Dija welcome back dear sister, where have u been?? hope all is well.

What did u mean by dates with sticks and without?? if u mean dates still stuck to their sticks. O Ok you call the soft dates - with or without sticks - rotab others the hard ones tamr..May Allah Accept.

Maghreb in Egypt calls at 5:55 PM. Actually, they fixed the time before Ramadan I mean we went back to being GMT +2.

And also workplaces here observe Ramadan and cut down the hours. Every year we suffer traffic jams, but Alhamdulelah this year it is much better.

alhamdulillah I am fine sis.

a little bit busy... since people here need more money during ramadhan and for the ied al fitr...

(i am still wondering why we need more money during ramadhan, we eat less than usual :conf06: )

soft dates = rotab

hard dates = tamr

:conf06: you mean rotab is ripe dates?

we call rotab as fresh dates and tamr as dry dates.

sorry for asking these coz i learn about some of Rasulullah's habits in eating and drinking.

many words can't be understood just by reading its definition.

Here we often use wrong foreign terms, eg. himar (or khimar?.. what ever .. i don't mean a donkey :D ) we call it jilbab. Abaya, we call it jubah, etc.

Really confusing :conf06:
