Narrated Abu Hurairah (radi Allaahu 'anhu):

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: The Great and the Glorious Lord said (to angels): Whenever My bondsman intends to commit an evil, do not record it against him, but if he actually commits it, then write it as one evil. And when he intends to do good but does not do it, then take it down as one act of goodness, but if he does it, then write down ten deeds (in this record).`

[Reported by Muslim]

Commentary: This Hadeeth is showing the wonders of the Generosity of Allaah especially in doing deeds. Allaah is saying to the angels that record the deeds of an individual to not write down a bad deed that a person intends to do until he actually does it. Furthermore, he is saying to write down the intention of doing a good deed as a good deed and to write down the fulfillment of the good action as ten good deeds. Therefore, this Hadeeth is showing that Allaah does not like to punish people and that he loves to reward them with good.

Narrated Ibn Masud (radi Allaahu 'anhu):

Allaah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "Envy is permitted only in two cases: A man whom Allah gives wealth, and he disposes of it rightfully, and a man to whom Allah gives knowledge which he applies and teaches it."

[Reported by Bukhari and Muslim]

Commentary: According to Imam An-Nawawi's explanation, the word Hasad (jealousy) is used in the sense of Ghibtah i.e., envy. In Islam, jealousy is forbidden and is held unlawful. The reason being that one who is jealous wants that the person, who possesses the quality of which he is jealous, be deprived of that quality. Envy is permissible for the reason that when one seems that a person has been graced by Allah with certain gifts and qualities, he also desires to be blessed with those gifts. In the latter case, he does not grumble and grieve but eagerly prays to Allah for those gifts. `Knowledge' here stands for the knowledge of the Qur'an and Hadith because this knowledge alone is beneficial for man, and it is through this knowledge that correct judgements can be made among the people. This Hadith has an inducement for acquiring useful knowledge along with wealth to spend in the ways ordained by Allah.

Narrated Abu Hurayrah (radi Allaahu 'anhu):

Allaah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales. Do not look for other's faults. Do not spy one another, and do not practise Najsh (means to offer a high price for something in order to allure another customer who is interested in the thing). Do not be jealous of one another and do not nurse enmity against one another. Do not sever ties with one another. Become the slaves of Allah, and be brothers to one another as He commanded. A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He should neither oppress him nor humiliate him. The piety is here! The piety is here!'' While saying so he pointed towards his chest. "It is enough evil for a Muslim to look down upon his Muslim brother. All things of a Muslim are inviolable for his brother in Faith: his blood, his wealth and his honour. Verily, Allah does not look to your bodies nor to your faces but He looks to your hearts and your deeds.'' Another narration is: "Do not feel envy against one another; do not nurse enmity; do not spy on one another and do not cheat one another. Be Allah's slaves, brethren to one another.''

Another narration is: "Do not have estranged relations with one another. Do not nurse enmity and do not feel envy against one another. O Allah's worshippers! Be brothers!''

Another narration is: "Do not estrange mutual relations and do not intervene into the transaction which is likely to be settled with another person.''

[Reported by Muslim]

Commentary: "Beware of suspicion'' means such suspicion about a Muslim for which no apparent evidence is available. Similar is the case of that thought which emerges in one's mind without any logic. "Najsh'' means to give higher bid in auction only to deceive others. Thus, it is a false bid which is not at all intended for purchasing the thing which is being auctioned. The instructions given to the Muslims in this Hadith are meant to secure the honour of Muslims. Since, doubt without any reason, and search for defects and weaknesses go against the security of a Muslim's honour, Islam has strictly forbidden Muslims from them. Another purpose for forbidding such things is to consolidate Muslim brotherhood. For this reason, they have been forbidden from oppression, leaving their Muslim brothers in lurch, considering others humble, and from taking pride in worldly possessions. In fact, the life, property, and honour of a Muslim have been declared unlawful for all other Muslims. Increase in a bid without any intention of buying the thing being auctioned and bargain over a bargain have also been prohibited because they also create ill-will and enmity.

And give not a thing in order to have more (or consider not your deeds of obedience to Allaah as a favour to Allaah) [al-Muddaththir 74:6]

Narrated Aisha (radi Allaahu 'anha): Allaah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "The one who is proficient in the recitation of the Qur'an will be with the honourable and obedient scribes (angels) and he who recites the Qur'an and finds it difficult to recite, doing his best to recite it in the best way possible, will have a double reward.." Assalaamu-alaikum,

Qur'an, from the story of Nuh with his people:

"Next I appealed to them publicly; then I broadcast it to them

and confided with them privately, proclaiming: 'Seek forgiveness

from your Lord; He is so Forgiving. He causes the sky to send

torrents down upon you and He supplies you with wealth and

children, and grants you gardens and even grants you rivers."

- Surah Nuh 78/9-12

[Lessons from these verses] Whatever you are seeking in life,

knock on the doors of forgiveness and they will both open.

Walaikum-assalaam

that's a big one!

That is really a big one, and what is necessary for success is really easy, and relies on one striving to get closer to Allah, but this does not mean doing nothing, but rather putting forth an Ayah or hadeeth in each or every situation we face and see how to handle it accordingly. In other words trying hard to apply Quran and sunnah in our lives to be placed among those who fear Allah, thus Allah Makes for them a way out.
