So what lead this search to Islam?

Islam kept popping into my head, but I kept dismissing it. I must have went through everything I possibly could and finally looked up Islam on the net LAST. I wanted to kick myself for waiting so long. Ironic... I started going onto interfaith forums... asking questions, reading, then going to the bookstore and bought a Quran, reading books about Islam, etc.

Plus if u can sort of tell me where exactly did u stumble in Christianity?

I suppose the biggest stumbling block for me was the trinity. I couldn't believe that people tried so hard to shove this down my throat, but could not sufficiantly explain why they believe in it <i>themselves. </i> :conf06:

Was there a moment in your search that you KNEW Islam was for you and waht was it?

Initially I thought Islam was the last religion for me, lol. However... It was the book of Maryam in the Quran, as I never knew that Islam had acknowledged Mary or Jesus (saws). I had found the religion that I knew I wanted... but couldn't find. All other religions either rejected Jesus(saws), or disrespected him. (saying that he had an affair with a prostitute, Mary Magdalene... to Mary mother of Jesus being raped by a Roman Soldier GOD FORBID!)


It was the proper respect and status given to all the prophets that made everything fall into place. No man-god, no strange mysteries of bread and wine turning to flesh and blood :blink: .


Reading the Quran, everything was so practicle and made sense. There was nothing hard to grasp... I just accepted piece by piece naturally; as if it always belonged in my life. :D I still have alot of reading to go... :popc1: but I'm still enjoying it. :hello_kitty_sm_03:
