#41

salaams,

thank you so much muslimah for those words of encouragement.i think that this is what i really need at this moment and time period.i am a very self concious individual and i really ponder on what other people think of me but worrying about that wud just make me old!!!

i must say that my parents are really supporting me all the way and i really appreciate that alot.i always pray that allah give them the strength they need everyday.and to all the parents(muslim/non-muslim) keep doing a wonderful job with your children.

assalam wa'alaikum.

You are most welcome dearest Khadijah

Just one more word, never worry about what people think of u, only worry about what Allah think of u. Just be cautious about Al Raqeeb (One Who Watches) rather than His creation. You can never succeed to develop a satisfactory image in the eyes of everyone. But you can continue striving in order to develop a satisfactory image in the Eyes of Allah.

Why? this is the main point. Each invididual has his/her own set of criteria based on which they evaluate people. At the end those are not but servants of Allah. But Allah's criteria is consistent and applied to all people. Therefore, which one is easier to seek fulfilling, certainly Allah's. For if u strive to fufill Allah's criteria, and thus Allah Becomes Pleased with u, Allah Is responsible to instill love and respect for you in peopl'e hearts. :)

Well actually, when i went on the honeymoon i saw this wonderful drink that i loved i.e. the virgin colada, it was simple to make, the guy at the counter made it right in front of my eyes and even explained it to me.. but hey...

IT STILL CAME OUT CRAPPY WHEN I MADE IT HOME !!!!!AARRRGH!!!!

lol

but i still tryin...

I think that in today's world there are soooooo much things muslims have to look out for like "i wonder if that kfc is halaal"

or "i wonder if they put alcohol in that drink"

It was wonderful to see a drink that tastes sooooooo good and had no alchohol..

Maybe it would be a nice idea for someone to start a thread on recipes... maybe then I can learn something... and we can learn some recipes from other countries lol....

anyways.. i'll be tryin to perfect this virgin colada..... till then... if you hear me on the news for blowin up the kitchen.. never mind it ok.. i'll be cool

wa sallam
