Allah is so Great!! Congratulations!! I am really very very happy for you Twister. You are so dear to God because He guides you to His straight path which is Islam, alhamdulillah (Thanks to Allah).

What you have to do is to take a shower, and go to the nearest mosque to pronounce the testimony of faith (Shahada) which is as follows: ASH-HADU ANLA ELAHA ILLA-ALLAH WA ASH-HADU ANNA MOHAMMADAN RASUL-ALLAH".

The english translation is : "I bear witness that there is no deity (none truely to be worshipped) but, Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is the messenger of Allah",

In the mosque you will find so much help from your brothers Muslims concerning what you should do.

As far as your family is concerned you can keep the fact of your being a Muslim for a while till you prepare for it. How you can do that? first of all ask Allah everyday to help you in convincing your family of your decision, then it is your duty to ask Allah to guide them. Besides praying for them, try to talk to them from time to time about Islam, the good manners that Islam preaches.. in order to pave the way for them to accept your decision. One more thing I would like to say is that always be good to your parents whatever their reaction is, and keep praying for their guidance.

my brothers and sisters , yesterday night was a great day. i went to the mosque and i said my shahada( there are no other gods but ALLAH and that Muhammad is his messenger) also i said i bear witness that Jesus is the messenger of Allah.

you will not believe me, am now feeling flying, so comfortable, alot of happiness around me, and the surprise My family accepted the decision very easy like you Jennifer. and the big surprise that my father told me to take him there one day to discover Islam. they gave me in the mosque so many Books about Islam on how to pray , how to fast , how to act etc etc .. finaly brothers and sisters i 've found my right way which is ISLAM. and so sad for those years which i spent it for worshiping Jesus and his images.

i will be here always to read your posts and to share with you the informations. thanks for you all.
