Today is a big day
#1

Today is the traditional first Saturday of the College Football season. Football (American Football) is the fastest, most physical, and most exciting game on the planet...in my humble opinion.

I used to play for the Maroon team...the Fightin Texas A&M Aggies.

If you ever get a chance to watch or go to a game I highly recommend it. :D

ive tried watching the superbowl a couple of times , but truthfully speaking as a soccer fan i dont like it because there are to many stops in american football , its not a flowing game , and its too technical , unlike soccer which is end to end stuff , without many stops.

Only Americans would think American Football is the greatest sport on Earth :P Whilst the rest of the world believes its soccer..but hey..who cares what the rest of the 6 billion say :P

On a serious note..

Wait..i do have something serious to say..i'll just go think of it, and then post it here.. (i forgot what i wanted to say)

I guess I am biased in that I live in the "hotbed" of football...Texas. I agree that there are a lot of stops in the game...BUT...once you get to understand the game you get to appreciate the stops. Football really is like chess. The opposing coaches put the players in place and tell them what to do...it's quite a mind game.

BY the way...my Aggies won the first game of the season.

No... football is more like WAR! Love it!

Two armies coming to do battle. As in war, no matter what the other side has in capabilities, if you know what they are going to do next, you will win. The smashing into eahc other. The explosive plays. The crunch and thuds of the equipment hitting each other is great.

It is a mind and physical game. So much preparation must go into it. Like in war, the "troops" at the beginning of the season look fresh and super muscular. By the time the Superbowl rolls around the chiseled muscles have started to fade from the hardships of the battle, oh... but the troops are veterans now and as with most veterans now know how to best work with their fellow warriors.

Yeah... I guess football's okay...

You mean ones about football?

Mickey and the Gridiron

Donald Duck Does Defense

I think Balou from Jungle Book would make a good nosetackle. Goofey could be cornerback. Mickey I guess could be QB but he does not seem like he has the heart for the game. Minnie and Daisy would be cheering the teams on with thier pompoms. I am getting too into this....

I think you two need to watch something to soothe the blood pressure down. Watch something without big men crashing into each other.
