Suhail I liked this idea a lot.
Well here u go,
In 1998, I was visiting Dallas FW, I finally had to go shoping (i dont like shoping but I had to), so I decided to do everything in one day to spare myself the agony.
I went to the mall, expecting to finish in shorter time, but of course it took me longer than expeted. Zohr came on, I went to Cears in which I had a nice chat with a sales woman from Benien (I think this is how it is spelt). I asked her if i can use the fitting room to say my prayers. She said of course and there is a bench for u to sit. I wanted to just get in and pray but shortly explained that we pray stading up.
Sobhan Allah.
Wait for the next location.... :D

Even without the beach insha Allah you will find a place just as dear to your heart in time insha Allah.
Once we prayed in a large group at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry. A very famous place. And once the kids and I were stuck in the middle of noplace on Wisconsin's cold winter and had to pray in our car, and to make the wudu we used the snow. That was very cold but it reminded me about the dua that says, "O Allah wash me of my sins as white cloth is cleansed with water, ice, and snow."
Thats a special memory. :)

A few years ago, me and my uncle were walking home in the city and he realised it was time to pray, and it was Friday, so he asked me to watch..he looked for the cleanest spot he could find on the London pavements and prayed.
I didnt think it was such a good idea because this was the pavement, and didnt like the looks he was getting from people walking by - and on the buses. He raised his voice slightly when he said Allahu Akbar, that was his way of saying 'what are you waiting for' so we prayed together. :P

POM, the Messenger prayer and peace be upon him said Allah Granted him five that were execlusive to him including that Allah Made to him (and of course his Ummah) earth as a place for Sujud (Masjedan) and purified.
Well, well ok hold on for this incident.
I work as a translator/interpreter.
Last March I had an interpretation assignment. Usually these events require large halls (the event organizer usually rents a hall in a 5 star hotel).
So any way to make a long story short, of course me and my colleague sit in the cabin with the machines on. In this day in particular, the organizer didnt find any place else in Cairo to rent but the night club area in the 12 th floor of Cairo Sheraton. When Zohr came on, me and my colleague just headed to where the stage that was covered with a curtain Alhamdulelah. Alhamdulelah, we performed our prayer. Sobhan Allah, that was amazing, she told me after prayer I never dreamed of performing prayer on a stage next to music instruments. Alhamdulelah, we pondered on the situation, I told her Sobhan Allah, this place is unlikely to have anyone making dhikr in it. Allah Willed that even in this place to be remembered not only just remembered by tongue, no but people praying. sobhan Alalh. The best thing is also when I reflect on the Ayah that such spots will testify for us in the Day After Alhamdulelah.
