"Dr" Zakir Naik came for a lecture couple of days ago at our local islamic institute/community centre


i didnt go coz there was a fifteen pound entrance fee any way i know a bit about this "Dr" personally i think he has alot of knowledge about the quran bible torah hindu and sikh scriptures etc....... but i dont rate the guy coz he is like pure milk with a drop of urine in it , even though its only a drop , no one would drink it , similary "Dr" has alot of knowledge but there are a few ideologies which personally i think means you should stay away from the guy.


i am happy to quote some of his fatwa's , ideas etc ..... which will make u doubt the person

Dear Suhail, just out of concern for a Muslim brother, try to avoid making such comments about scholars. No matter what you know or hear, a scholar is a scholar, I mean they strive and learn, they spend their free time in other things than what we do.

Hey even non muslims are scholars these days even they strive to learn islam and but they are not muslim , they will have all the islamic knowledge u can but they wont be a muslim , im not saying "Dr" isnt a muslim all im saying is that just because he has vast knowledge of islam doesnt mean u have to agree with some of his fatwas and ideologies.........

Dear Suhail I add to my sister M here, he is a well known scholar, and u r accusing him bad accusations which u r not sure of. many scholars differ and many scholars give various fatwas, we may agree or differ with them, but for sure they have more knowledge than us, they might be right or wrong is not for us to say unless we are sure of it. Non muslims who make muftis and judge us or muslim scholars are just adding more to their ignorance. Suhail, u should know that non muslims do not read everything in islam, they just take little of it and judge upon it. And John Mash'Allah he is one of a scholar, he reads every bit of an informative post we put for him, he is always bored have no time, and so on... then he says he knows everything, really :rolleyes: . Scholars are human beings, they make mistakes, but that does not mean that u attack him that way. reconsider that kind of description suhail, and do not put yourself in a position that u will be asked by Allah(SWT) why u said such words about a muslim scholar.
