“Have they feet wherewith they walk? Or have they hands wherewith they hold? Or have they eyes wherewith they see? Or have they ears wherewith they hear? Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Call your (so-called) partners (of Allâh) and then plot against me, and give me no respite!” (Quran 7:195)

“Alahum arjulun yamshoona biha am lahum aydin yabtishoona biha am lahum aAAyunun yubsiroona biha am lahum athanun yasmaAAoona biha quli odAAoo shurakaakum thumma keedooni fala tunthirooni”

“Do they not then think deeply in the Qur’ân, or are their hearts locked up (from understanding it)?” (Quran 47:24)

N.B A comment to be made: Notice that we understand with out hearts not minds. So the heart needs to be free of all impediaments which may hinder the receipient of Allah’s light

“Afala yatadabbaroona alqur-ana am AAala quloobin aqfaluha”

“Have they not travelled through the land, and have they hearts wherewith to understand and ears wherewith to hear? Verily, it is not the eyes that grow blind, but it is the hearts which are in the breasts (the proper word in Arabic here would be chests that is where the heart are located) that grow blind.” (Quran 22:46)

“Afalam yaseeroo fee al-ardi fatakoona lahum quloobun yaAAqiloona biha aw athanun yasmaAAoona biha fa-innaha la taAAma al-absaru walakin taAAma alquloobu allatee fee alssudoori”

N.B. Again this Ayah presents the importance of hearts with which we even see

“O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitânah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends) those outside your religion (pagans, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites) since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts (again here chests must be used) conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses) if you understand” (Quran 3:118)

“Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo bitanatan min doonikum la ya/loonakum khabalan waddoo ma AAanittum qad badati albaghdao min afwahihim wama tukhfee sudooruhum akbaru qad bayyanna lakumu al-ayati in kuntum taAAqiloona”

N.B I am taking the transileteration from this site: http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/t...tion/index.html if any one is aware of a better site pls let me know.

Salam sister

i think the way u r teachin the arabic is good. I think u putting the arabic words into categories such as body organs is useful as ppl can learn key words.

Also surah fatihah, hw u have broken it down the ayats into words and gave the meaning that way, makes you understand the surah better. As you knw which word means wot exactly.

I think that u shld carry on doing it this way and give more key arabic words. You all r doing a very good job mashallah teaching the arabic.

lol This post is kinda getting long but one more thing to say i think that u shld tk ur time posting other posts here as its gna tk time to learn wots already here.

Jazakallah

May Allah bless you all and guide you to the rite path and reward you for the good you are doing.

Ameen.
