Muhammad and Aisha
#21

Quote:Dan, may the blessings of God be with you, you must understand most nonmuslims have never been really introduced into the whole muslim world as you have. As a "nasrani", i do not have as much knowledge of Islam so I find out what I can and ask others questions to add to my knowledge. I mean as you said it may take more than a lifetime to understand Islam so why not speed up the process and ask questions of the board.
Sincerly,

Serahpim, let me try and explain what my brother Dan is aiming for without putting words in his mouth. It is just that what he meant by u might be learning for life time and the rest of his comment, is in no way a discouragement for u and the like to come and ask questions. Remember he himself is a revert. I mean he was not a Muslim and certainly asked questions. What he is referring to is that in some cases people come to the board for whatever intention, and start asking questions. Members give the reply with the Assistance of Allah, as clear as possible, they still continue to ask about the same point like no one even talked to them.

That is when Dan feels that may be this person is not grasping or us not articulating our replies well enough.

He wanted to make a point that Islam is not about all the usual areas which raise discussion, but about totally something different. Besides that knowledge in general is never attained at once, I mean we go thru primary education, to high school to graduate school then post grad and so on. One lives the whole life learning. This is what Dan wanted to say.

And once u understand what Tawheed is then you had a good idea about what Islam is all about. But certainly you are not obliged to embrace it.

Did I help?

I felt i want to continue on my previous post since Insh aAllah it will help in many ways.

When Dan referred to the importance of learning properly, and I share the same concept with him and with the rest of my brothers and sisters on this board, we mean to say, that people sit behind their pcs aiming to criticise Islam in any way. They go to sites pick from here and there, come and ask questions. We as Muslims are supposed to know a minimum level of knowledge. We give the answers but they dont like it and continue debating for many reasons that are only known to Allah and certainly not our problem. As soon as we put the info, our role ends here. If someone does not like it, it is not our problem and we are not ashamed of any thing in Islam. Those who feel otherwise can continue feeling so with no harm.

Therefore, we are not defending our religion or feeling insecure, we are only helping those who need to learn. When we tell someone this is how it is, there is much difference between accepting and liking and between understanding. Sometimes me personally I feel I m talking to the air when people go into redundancy.

Our Project (Al Muhaddith) has composed two short videos for YouTube,

destroying the slander against our Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)

and his MARVELLOUS marriage to Sayyidah Aishah (Radia Llahu Anha).

More videos will also be produced insha'allaah,

to destroy other false (and hypocritical) attacks against Islam.

(Each video is about 10 minutes long).

Please assist this campaign as follows, to continue destroying these malicious lies:

1- Register with http://www.Youtube. com before performing the following steps

2- Respond to their "confirmation e-Mail", in order to become a member

3- Once you become a member, watch the following videos, then promote each of them as shown below http://www.youtube. com/watch? v=mm_fkOBZrOQ

http://www.youtube. com/watch? v=uxGlf8mgLVo

4- Give 5 stars (to each video)

5- "Favorite" each video (click the red heart below it)

6- Forward a copy of this message to as many friends as possible, ASKING THEM TO DO THE SAME

7- If you like, get involved with the comments below the videos,

by observing utmost manners, we will win over the persons seeking the truth

and many of them are accepting Islam through the Internet and YouTube.

The stubborn enemies are not important to us,

on the contrary, their immoral manners contributes toward

showing our good image to the impartial rational persons.

7- If you own a Web Site, place a link to this campaign from our following web site:

http://www.muhaddit h.org/EarlyMarri age

8- If you produce videos, we invite you to use our solid references and use your talents to make other great videos.

NOTE:

Enemies of Islam are using HITLER'S STRATEGY:

"If you repeat a lie long enough, people will believe it".

TURN IT AGAINST THEM to crush falsehood:

Assist this campaign by REPEATING THE TRUTH.

21:18: “No, We hurl truth against falsehood, it breaks its head and there: it vanishes.”

Most importantly, please remember the Sunnah and personality of our beloved Prophet: if someone insults us, we should reply even nicer than before the insult.

Quran 41:34 {Repel with what is better: then he, who there is enmity between you and him, will be as an intimate friend.}

Wassalamu Alaikum
