Is the Western non Muslim woman free???
#21

Bismillah

All the people are free to do what they are want to do,but the society

has the right to stop any actions may cause harm to the others and that

is why the laws existed.Laws put some limitations on our behaviour, but

all the people are forced to follow these laws.

How much we will accept these laws,it depends about how much these laws

are based on our faith.

If laws are based on our faith(what ever this faith was),we will feel

comfortable and will accept laws as a method to correct our behaviour,

but if the laws are not based on our faith we may feel uncomfortable

and somtimes we will consider that we are not free.

So we can say that muslims live under laws based on isalm is free more than muslms live under other laws.

Considering the islamic dress, actually Islam decideed punishments to be

taken by the society for some wrong actions, unwearing islamic dress is

not one of these actions, beside there is an islamic dress for the men

also, for example wearing a short dress(over the knee) inpublic is not

admitted to the men.

So puting laws cocerning the women/men dresses in Saudi Arabia is the

government action. And as I said all governments around the world put

some laws and all the people are forced to follow these laws, without

saying any word about slaving.

Actually, being muslems mean that we accept any laws based on Islam.

beside our acceptance to these laws mean that we obey the god who

created us ,it is better for us to follow laws based on our faith than

to follow laws based on the other`s faith.

To be free does`nt mean you are free to do wrong actions causing harm

to the others,we as muslims think that unwearing islamic dresses will

cause harm to our society.

Finally, what about muslims girls who are forced to disobey their God in

France,where is the freedom?

Assalam allikum dear Muslims & Non Muslims,

When I read this start of the post I knew there would be a big debate about this. I wanted to give you an innocent view of it in the begining but since I haven't had time to write it seems every one had debated about this every ehich angle. I want to add one thing before I anser the question is a Non Muslim women free or a Muslim. It made me so sick listening to what Muslimah was saying about western women. No offence Muslimah. But having sex with mutiple partners and being sex objects makes me sick to my stomach. These things do happen in a western society and are not nice. Bu I wont focus on this any more as it is off the subject.

Allah made us and he gave us a brain to think and choose. So there fore we are all free. since we have the freedom to choose. No one can give us limitations on what we are capable of. We think, we feel we react. I have freedom becuase I choose to follow Allah ways. Non Muslim women are free to do what they please as well. I may disagree with some of the things Non Muslim do and Non Muslim might disagree on what Muslims do but each to there own. No one can tell as what to do. If they do we rebell and prove a point we will do it any way. I hope you all undersatnd what I am saying.

Could we please close of this subject as I think it is making some people a bit defensive and making them upset. This is a forum to come to, to enjoy.

sorry alliex if I offended u, was not the intention I am sure u know that.

However, u sort of summed up what I was trying to elaborate on.

John keeps criticising and feeling bad for Muslim women being so unfree and oppressed. I just used an example of how we may also look to the opposite side from our own viewpoint.

I was trying to tell non Muslims why their perception must be correct about the freedom any party enjoys. We dont go around criticising what may violate our rules. WE just understand.

So in conclusion: we see that we are free as we are.

John and other non muslim members see other wise that is not our problem. Just exactly as we see the opposite.

So John just relax and rest assured that Muslim women are not suffering in any way.

I understand, but unfortunately they are true, what makes me even more amazed is non Muslims coming on us the way they do, telling us how oppressed we are, trying to analyze and discuss from their own viewpoint, carrying on in a partronizing manner. This I cannt actually stand and must be very firm about it.

They have their standards we have ours, we dont interfer in theirs, they must refrain from interfering with ours.

I m sure u know what I mean.
