Wohoo it's been awhile since I been here. I just wanted to tell you all about the New Zealand Islamic Sisterhood Assembly that was held in Christchurch on Friday & Saturday. The Keynote Speaker of our gathering was Sister Yvonner Ridley.


It was Just a Sisters Conference masha'Allah no Brothers. We had so much fun. We had a COncert, Sisters from Palastine/Somalia/India/Malaysia performed their traditional dances. We had Plays performed by little muslims. We also had a fashion show where all different cultures showed their traditional clothes. Also The United-Muslimah-Youth-Group Of Christchurch performed Nasheeds and I was one of them [img]style_emoticons/default/wink.gif[/img] . Sister Yvonner ridley gave us a lecture too. It was called "Are Muslim women really Oppressed"? It was masha'Allah a very great lecture. On that night we also invited nonmuslim women to the lecture and they have learned heaps about us which they didn't even know.


I never really went to islamic conferences especially the mixed ones. But When Brother Khalid Yaseen came I just had to go. So within this year Alhamdulilah Allah has blessed me to be in two gatherings that I have always wanted to be in and listen to. Masha'Allah [img]style_emoticons/default/wub.gif[/img].


Sister Yvonne Ridley has told us who the taliban truly are. They are not the rapists, the murders/the women hating men that CCN & BBC & FOX NEWS make's them to be. They are honourable men who have fought to keep the word of Allah high and who respect muslim women. Sister Yvonne ridley said "

. We all know what the American troops have done to young girls in their prisons we all know how they even took the dignity of men let alone Girls and Women!!! And would Allah have not brought their cruelty forward it would have remained hidden. We all have seen the pictures and Allah knows how much they have still managed to keep hidden.


I am so happy that I have met her, I have always wanted to ask her so many questions about Afghanistan and The Talibans [img]style_emoticons/default/smile.gif[/img] and now all of my questions are finally answered, Allahu Akbar!! [img]style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif[/img]


Insha'Allah she'll give one more Lecture, tomorrow in Public for Brothers/Sisters/Nonmuslims.

I am so surprised as u just want to criticize for the sake of criticism I am not sure why did u post the report. But it is good any way, at least you showed people that they did kill a woman but not any woman a killer. The woman killed her husband. The woman killed a soul. As Quran indicated she must be killed.


And I will stop here I will not even compare this with man made laws in many coutnries regarding murder cases.

WASHINGTON - The Iraqi prisoner abuse scandal took an explosive turn yesterday with the revelation that photos and graphic videotapes not yet made public show abuses more horrific than those already seen.


Signaling the worst revelations are yet to come, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said the additional photos show ``acts that can only be described as blatantly sadistic, cruel and inhuman.''


``There are a lot more photographs and videos that exist,'' Rumsfeld testified before Congress.


``If these are released to the public, obviously it's going to make matters worse. That's just a fact.''


The unreleased images show American soldiers beating one prisoner almost to death, apparently raping a female prisoner, acting inappropriately with a dead body, and taping Iraqi guards raping young boys, according to NBC News.


Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said the scandal is ``going to get worse'' and warned that the most ``disturbing'' revelations haven't yet been made public.


``The American public needs to understand, we're talking about rape and murder here,'' he said. ``We're not just talking about giving people a humiliating experience; we're talking about rape and murder and some very serious charges.''
