Surah Al-Fatiha

After knowing the outlets of the arabic letters it will be easier inshallah to read arabic words. The first thing to learn before starting any other lesson is Surah Al-Fatih for it's the opening of the Quran and without it the prayer is invalid.

I took this from another forum. Mash a Allah a sister did a good job on it.

I looked up each word in al fatiha and translated it. Took quite a while, lol...

I'll copy it here inshaa Allah.

JazakAllahu khayr.

1 بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِِ

Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

2 الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

Alrrahmani alrraheemi

The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

4 مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

الرَّحْمنِ

Ar Rahman [The Most Beneficent or Gracious, Who gives blessings and prosperity to all beings without showing disparity]

الرَّحِيمِِ

Ar Raheem [The Most Merciful]

**(There is a shadda ّ on the ra Ñ of Rahman, which joins the ha (of Bismillah) straight to it... thus making the laam become silent. The same with Rahman al Rahim. There is a shadda on the Ra, so the noon joins straight on to it, and the laam becomes silent.)

4.. مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

مَالِكِ

Maliki [The Sovereign/Owner/Absolute king of (From Allah's name al Malik)]

يَوْمِ

Yaum [Day]

يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

**Yaum mid deen [Day of Recompense]

** Shadda on the daal joins the meem straight to it, making the laam silent. Yaum aldeen. Joining with a shaada makes a double sound on the daal. mid deen.

5.. إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

إِيَّاكَ

Iyyaka [You (alone)]

نَعْبُدُ

na3budu [we worship]

وإِيَّاكَ

wa iyyaka[and You (alone)]

نَسْتَعِينُ

nasta3een [we ask for help]

I have to figure out which part is *ask for* and which is *help*, but I'm guessing the noon makes it we ask?

Ihdina [Guide us, or increase our guidance]

المَغضُوبِ

al daleen [the rest, or the strays (derived from the word astray)]

I am trying to show you the alphabetical for Surah Al-Fatih

It could help of memorizing the letters

I tried to make it in tables but I could not if you can show me how to use table here

May Allah Help us all brother to do whatever pleases Him and be away from whatever makes Him angry.

And I tried before u to use tables but it does not appear on the forum.
