Did the prophet put his right hand over his left
#1

Dear brother and sister , i am back again yet with some more questions , and more question why can't i just accept the way this crap world is? too many "men " seeking too much power , all just want more blood and more power men are killing each other like hell has arrived on this planet. back to the two question i was going to ask.

As we all know there are 75 sector of Islam wow that makes us or me feel really good about the source of information i can get from the internet , is it true " Did the prophet put this right hand over this left hand and then both over his chest. and if so where about in the Quran does it say i seriously can't find it.

if you can , i would like to know which sura does it say.

my second question and probley the most stupid question but i must ask.

Is it alright to have photo of family , son , on the wall in your own house ie if you where to pray would this be okay.

& is it okay to have as a Art/ collect-able item a china / Buddhist God or a statue of a person in your house.

if it is once again where in the quran does it say and if not What should i do with this china Buddhist God and a Statue of a person. also where about in the quran does it say.

Brothers and Sister many thanks for answering ma questions you all deserver to be in Hell with me for your sins and then we all should hopefully with the blessing of Allah go to Jannia

Insha'Allah I hope that your questions will get answered. Unfortunately I can't help you now but will when Allah allows me.

However I am confused about something in your post, can you please clarify what you mean with the following I have highlighted? Maybe it's a typo, May Allah forgive us all.

The answer where to put our hands in prayer and about having pictures or statues in the house, is found in Ahadith.

For now I found these two, from Sunan Abu Dawud

Book 3, Number 0754:

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud:

AbuUthman an-Nahdi said: When Ibn Mas'ud prayed he placed his left hand on the right. The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) saw him and placed his right hand on his left one.

and

Book 3, Number 0758:

Narrated Tawus:

The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) used to place his right hand on his left hand
, then he folded them strictly on his chest in prayer.

About pictures and statues,

Ahadith from Sahih Muslim,

Book 024, Number 5246:

A'isha reported that Gabriel (peace be upon him) made a promise with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) to come at a definite hour; that hour came but he did not visit him. And there was in his hand (in the hand of Allah's Apostle) a staff. He threw it from his hand and said: Never has Allah or His messengers (angels) ever broken their promise. Then he cast a glance (and by chance) found a puppy under his cot and said: 'A'isha, when did this dog enter here? She said: BY Allah, I don't know He then commanded and it was turned out. Then Gabriel came and Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said to him: You promised me and I waited for you. but you did not come, whereupon he said: It was the dog in your house which prevented me (to come), for we (angels) do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture.

and

Book 024, Number 5250:

Abu Talha reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Angels do not enter the house in which there is a dog or a statue.

Okay to be honest i have no answer or meaing i was just upset with the world and felt like men shouldn't really be here on this planet so i said "all deserver to be in Hell with me for your sins ". I think most would agree non of us are even worthy of entering into the paradise just like that , we all have done some sort of sin and my Almight Allah for give us all.

and; me too for being silly on this fourm room. As for the Status wow i had no idea that it was this serious i shall throw the status away but i am very confuse with the photo as its a picture of me and my grandmother i can't just bin it and there are well over 1 000 pictures and video films of my family members i can't just bin them as there are histroical value to my family.

as salam alykom brother waheed

welcome back,

Just before u start telling yourself Umm got me an answer from hadeeth and not Quran.

why we take from hadeeth is answered here waheed:

http://www.islamsms.com/bb//index.php?...l=detailed+book

This Insh a Allah will add to your info.

As for what Intuition questioned, never tell a Muslim u deserve to be in Hell. Dont even say this about yourself. As when u do that u put yourself in a position of judging which is Allah's duty and only Allah Is the Judge to judge who deserves what.

Brother we all are seeking Allah's Mercy. It is a major sin to tell others u deserve to be in hell. Yes we sin, but Alhamdulelah Allah Gave us the benefit of repentance.

Brother if we dont sin and feel the humility of being sinful beings we wouldnt realize the taste of obedience and the diginty associated therein.

Just always repent to Allah as much as u can as much as possible, this is one option we have that really very hard on shyatan.

So just repent to Allah always.

Otherwise i think my sisters did a good job Mash a Allah on your questions.

Okay i am now really confuse about this image thing

if i am correct in saying any picture that is Three-dimensional is haramm where does it say in the Quarn because if this is Haram then why this this forum room using the clickable Smilies as it could be repersentiing a human face.?

I really need to be clear about this --->" Those that are hung up for the sake of memory, such as hanging up pictures of one's friends. This is also haraam, because of the hadeeth narrated in Saheeh al-Bukhaari from Abu Talhah (may Allaah be pleased with him), who said: “I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: ‘The angels do not enter any house in which there is a dog or an image.’” Narrated by Muslim, no. 2104)."

hence I qote"The angels do not enter any house in which there is a dog or an image.’” Narrated by Muslim, no. 2104)."

what does it excalty mean , ie a real world example i have well over 1000 pictures of my family including videos , which are histroical value to my family and me and has been past over from generation to the next generation all these photo are kept in a brown suite case not evenone

is hang up on the wall my point is does this the Angle will not enter my house as i have all these photos or will they enter my house because all the photo and video are kept in this suite case.

we only take it out to show our kids who are they roots.

please brother and sister guide me and i seek Allahs help i just don't know who i am going to deal with this issue and a major conflict

JUST HOW CAN YOU THROW AWAY PICTURE OF YOUR LOVE ONE'S

Waheed I agree with u about the smilies issue, the program is an already built one and it has them.

To tell u the truth Waheed I am not very well with this picture issue, but as far as I undersand and I heard scholars talk about it, the photos taken by camera are not the haram ones, They explained it in a technical manner that pics taken by camera is not a reflection of the human being but rather I am not sure what.. may be I can look for this fatwa.

May Allah Guide us all

Sister Mushimah nice to hear from your self , please do look into this as there can be many way for Imaan to go weak. I don't want to bin photo that are valuables to my family over a issue that as far as I could tell.

The prophet Mohd(S.A.W) didn't use digital cameras or watch any TV so therefore you can't argue a point that the prophet said Photo are haraam because he never took Digital photos

just like that you can't say that travelling by plane is harraam because the prophet didn't travel by plane.

I hope you could see what i mean this topic must be back up top Scholars and all sectors of Islam with quotes
