I have a question, I was only introduced to Nasheeds on this thread and specially to samil Yusuf. But as I understood that nasheeds must not be accompanied with mucial instruments.


But Sami Yusuf plays instruments with his nasheeds, I even heard his latest one Ummi (my mother) while he is playing piano.

The Nasheeds I have of sami yusuf don't have music instruments only the duff and some light drums. Masha'Allah why would he even need music instruments when Allah gave him such a wonderful serene voice that delights the senses.


I have not heard of the new "ya ummi" nasheed. I try to avoid nasheeds that contain music instruments. Have you SEEN him play the piano though? [img]style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif[/img] If thats true then ofcourse that totally defeats the purpose.

but seriously people spread a lot of rumours, one time I saw a few elder muslims saying " ya Allah, please turn yusuf islam off fear ALlah, he sings music and uses instruments". How funny is that? Sometimes some things amaze me so much that they make me laugh honestly.

and yes I saw Sami play the piano. Go to his page I m not sure if they already have his new Ummi on there if not I will try to see some computer genius to help me load it here if u want.

You know sometimes I just don't make any sense. It's not really important it was just "a he said she said thingy anyway". I just heard some people say that yusuf islam is using music instruments in his nasheeds.
