Dawn(Fajr) Salat:

State intention.Fajr(Dawn)Salat(prayer).

Begin:Raise hands to the sides of your face(palms facing Ka'aba)

and Say:

Allah u Akbar (God is Great) then move them to your sides. While standing place hands on chest (right over left)

Next say:(the Fatiha)

Bismillaa-ir Rachmaan-ir Raheem (In the name of Allah,Most Gracious,Most Merciful)

Al hamdu Lila-hi Rabbil 'Aaal-ameen (Praise be to Allah,Lord of the Universe)

Arr-Rachman-ir Raheem (Most Gracious,Most Merciful)

Maalikee Yomid-deen (Master of the Day of Judgement0

Eyakka-Na'Budu Wa Eyaaka n-asta'Een (You alone we worship; You alone we ask for help)

Eh'Denas SiraaTal Mustaqeem (Guide us in the right path)

SiraaTal Lazina an'amta-Alayheem-Yhahril Maghdoobi Alayheem (the path for those whom You blessed;not of those who have wrath, nor of the strayers)

Say:Ameen

Ruku: (Bow by bending at waist with the legs straight and place hands on your knees, eyes looking at place in front of you on floor)

Say: Allah uAkbar as you bow.

While bowing say:

Soo-bhaana Rabby-al Azeem (Glory be to God,the Great)(3 Times)

Stand up(with hands on chest) saying:

Sami Allah-uLeman Hamidaa (Allah respondes to those who praise Him)

While standing say:

Rabbana walak al hamd (Our Lord, forgive us)

Sujood:

Say: Allah uAkbar as you go into the Sujood(prostration) on your knees and hands. While prostrated say:

Soo-bhaana Rabby-al A-laah (Glory be to God, the Most High)(3 Times)

Say: Allah uAkbar as you Raise up into the sitting position. Then say: Allah uAkbar as you go back down to the Sujood.

Say: Soo-bhaana Rabby-al A-laah (3 Times)

Say: Allah uAkbar as you stand for the 2nd Rak'ah.

Repeat the above steps(1 Rak'ah) to make up 2 Rak'ahs.......

After 2nd Rak'ah sit up after the sujood while sayin Allah uAkbar then say the Tashahud:(while pointing right finger and moving it in a circular motion)

Soo bhann Allah wa' Hamdu Lillah wala ilaah ill Allah wa Allah uAkbar walaa- hala wa laa quwatta illa Billaah (Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god except Allah,Allah is Most great and there is no strength except Allah)

(In the noon, afternoon and night prayers dont say the Salaams until after the 4th Rak'ah and in the sunset prayer not until after the 3rd rakah)Look to right and say: Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullah then to the left and repeat it.Get up while saying:Allah uAkbar

This concludes the Fajr(Dawn Prayer)

Then for the noon, afternoon and night prayers repeat the 1st rak'ah 3 more times to make 4 rakahs.

For the sunset prayer repeat the 1st Rakah 2 more time for a total of 3 rakahs.

Brother, so far I understand you, Salatul Fajr (sunset), has 2 rakah fardz and 2 rakah sunna. They are not to be prayed in one time not in 4 rakah. 2 + 2 .. About your other question, explain me more.which words do you mean..

my Allah swt accept your salah insha-allah-urrahman. wassalam

Bismillah,

Assalamu aleikum,

Sorry brother Kareem, this question just went me by. And thank you brother Keepthefaith for reminding of the issue.

Brother, in your first post the only thing I can see that you may have ''missed'' is that you should also recite another Surah after Surah Fatiha. So when you are standing you recite Fatiha plus another one before you bow down. And that applies for all prayers.

And then, yes you say the tashahud efter the second rakah and after the forth. And at sunset prayer you do it after the third, since there is only three rakah this prayer.

Bismillah,

Assalamu aleikum,

Sorry I was not clear enough at all .

Surah Fatiha and another Surah is prayed in the first two standings. And in the one/ones following after tashahud, 1 (sunset prayer) or 2 (for the 4 rakah prayers) one ONLY recite Surah Fatiha.

Sorry for being unclear!
