Along with him at least 38 other US citizens who attended the "Reviving the Islamic Spirit" conference were held up to six hours at bridges crossing the US-Canada border, according to Homeland Security officials and civil rights activists.

Earlier, last year – two other famous "moderate Muslims", British singer Yusuf Islam (Cat Steven) and Swedish Professor Tariq Ramadan were denied entry to the US, on “a Threat To US security”, allegations under Jewish propaganda engineered by Israeli lobby, AIPAC.
