Jazak Mithluh brother, really there should not be any doubt about jihad in palestine. It is obvious, there women are soldiers in the army and their babies are fed in the bottles to hate us and kill us, but still we say that we do not accept one blowing himself killing innocent people, but do palestinians have any other choice. Wallahu 'Alam . may Allah preserve our UMMA from all the evil that is being woven for it. Allahuma Ameen

I know one thing: there's no room for suicide in Islam, even if you're pushed to your limits. However, I understand why the palestinian people are forced or what drives them to this alternative. These people were born into a life of struggle, the war began with their forefathers, I am all aware of the history. Have you noticed something though: why do you only see young people blowing themselves up, and not the elders who believe in this? Shouldn't anyone who's able to sacrifice do it? All I know is, one day these people will get what's owed to them, justice is coming. In Islam the means never justify the end. To Allah all that matters is the means, our strife, therefore suffering is preordained matter. and quick fixes dont get us anywhere. Maybe Allah won't change their situation until they change their state of heart or their way of dealing with Isrealis. I don't know, am just speculating.

It is immoral to justify the bombings of residencies and mass murdering of innocent people. It is a shame that our own incompetence gives us an excuse to interpret the religion to our own preference. We cannot preach Islam as a Peaceful religion, and let others present it violently. Islam is not about being two faced but it is about all that is good including honesty and respect.

Deen, No, i don't really have any personal issues with this topic, I just believe that Suicide bombing is not the only solution nor the only option, we have to play their own game and we will defeat them. Why would one need to commit suicide if you have a surface to air missile out your disposal? Maybe thats something to think about? The muslim world is not as poor as it seems, and let us not now begin about how we can not fight them back, how we are so poor and behind. During the days of RasuLuLah the muslims were few, poor, and didn't used to have good weapons. But still they used to fight the Kafirs and defeat them. I think they used to win, simply because they had Allah on their side, I am not really too sure if Allah is on the side of this ummah knowing how much evil we are engaged in.

May Allah forgive me for everyhting unuseful and bad I have said.

In this u r so right sister, we will never win until we change what is within our hearts, by then Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, will stand by us and Help us. Insha'Allah u did not say anything bad or unuseful sister, we all agree with u that killing innocent people is not accepted in Islam, but again we cannot blame palestinians when we see what they are facing everyday, can we?

May Allah Help them, and Guide this Umma to what He loves and pleases.

Raidyah, I think the hadeeth u r talking about is the one relating about a companion who decided to suddenly penetrate into the enemies lines to creat chaos, knowing that he might be killed easily and was approved as a plan by the Messenger. Also there is a thread on rulings of killing during war.

However, as far as I understood from your thread is that Palestine has special circumstances. Knowing that we are not to kill women, children and elderly as even Abu Bakr instructed Usama in his first battle after the death of the Messenger, taking in consideration that Israeili women are not civilians takes another angle.

In this regard specially, personally I d leave the judgment to Allah as we always must do.My only concern in this regard and may Allah Forgive me for being like this, was not the innocent victims, but I was rather concerned the attacker wasted his/her effort if it was haram.

But I certainly echo Intituition's demand, call, request, dua for an urgent need for us to change.
