Adultery – In Biblical And Islamic Terms
#11

since God knows all and does all the punishing then us as human beings should forgive and let go of what others do, that anger only gives you cancer and eats you alive. What is a force appology mean to ya anyways one from the heart without being told to appologize means much much more. I would hate for someone to order me to appologize. Don't most learn from their mistakes? I think this is the way God teaches us through our own experiences and mistakes.

Asalaamu alikum to all,

You are true on what you said about forgiveness to others if we have transgressed them athena. We should never be angry for what is said about us just as our Prophet(SAW) did. We all know the hardships he faced and never became angry for what was done to him. The only time we must be angry and this should be done in the best way possible is when Allah(SWT) is slandered, our Deen is slandered, and when our Prophet(SAW) is slandered. If we do not speak up and tell the truth to the people that do these things we will be accountable for this on the Last Day. This is a right that Allah(SWT) has on us and it must be upheld. I am sure we all know of the times when our Prophet(SAW) became angry for such things and we should use this as an example for us.

Wa salaam,

Ahmed

Peace Athena

I really appreciate your input, I am not the least angry Alhamdulelah. And Insh a Allah this will not eat me alive. It is a matter of respecting the rules of the place.

May be u can read them before judging the poster. Plus u have no idea about the whole situation which makes your judgment surely missing a lot of factors. So when one misses the factor I think better not to judge.

yeah that is the point you got it why judge at all just ignore it and let God take care of it, and focuse on improving ourselves. i just feel all this argueing takes your mind off god and fills heart up with anger. it is such a waste. But i will leave it coz your right i don't know. All i know is my heart. and i saw bickering and didn't like it and see it is wasting time. that is my input on how you made me feel and i had compassion to say let it go.

No offense at all athena I understand. Plus what is more important is that I could have very easily banned him again for the 3rd time and that is it. U r right this matter does not need all this discussion. I am waiting for John's reply and mods opinion on that particular matter.

Assalamu aleikum,

Hi JohnDoe,

I am aware of that there may be different interpretations around among Muslims, so there is no need for you to give me the links, but thanks for your concern anyway.

So it may depend on what school of Fiqh is applied for, yes it may differ, but still all of them is right, and then I mean Hanifah, Bin Anas, Al-Shafi'i and bin Hanbal. And I am quite satisfied with that, so I don't need any 'lecture'. I any case when there may arise problems I think it may be a Muslim issue solved among Muslims.

Didn't we agree on a better behaviour? [Image: rolleyes.gif] I do love my brothers and sisters very much and suffer when reading words that is not only forwarded to them, since I feel as a Muslim we are all 'in the same boat' belonging to the same Ummah. And for that matter the same goes for our visiting guests too, if they are spoken to in an impropriate way. Sorry for lecturing.

Could we take the opportunity to make the coming new year a better one? In every little way we can? And concentrate on LEARNING more and more? And being us humble as we can along the way? What do you say - any chance of accomplishing that? Of course with the help of Allah, SWT...

as salam alykom brothers and sisters and peace to others

As I brought this issue to a number of members and mods out of shura and in respect to their opinion. They saw to keep John even with his not much changed attitude. I am not neglecting rule of the forum, but I saw their point according to Islam. I think what they sent me deserve to be posted and I dont think they will mind. If they mind let me know I care to post their pms here.

Umm decided to reply even in public as she was also consulted.

All the foolish ones who used to post here with foul words about the deen are gone now aren't they? well most of them, we only had John to get rid of now he's back! The one who posts almost daily non stop when he's not banned that is, yet calls our religion one which has "<b>backward barbaric customers</b>" , respects our views on Islam when he claims "<b>the people on here are either ignorant of the history or are in denial.</b>" nice one, and he also compares the Muslims to the Nazi's "<b>To say that islam is a religion (of peace), is a bit like saying that the nazi party is a trade workers union.</b>" Nice one MATE, there's more as well, these are the less offensive comments, anyone want them? Allow me to dig them up. Or just type in Johndoe on the search for more Islamaphobic fun!

Yet he's still allowed to post here, if this isn't tolerance what is. However now he is unbanned he will no doubt be back to post <b>every day</b> like he was before. The only non Muslim poster here who actually posts more than the Muslims. They hate our religion so much yet, can't stay away. Most interesting. I would ban him and be done with it, but no doubt i'm going to get a telling off for being proud and cherishing my religion by some members here, so i will keep shut.

Johndoe should thank Muslimah for her patience, and everyone else on here who actually attempts to have dialogue with him. May Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) forgive me.

To the rest of you Assalamu Alalikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
