Welcome Back To Islam :)
#1

Al salam 'ala man itaba' Al-huda

One never converts to Islam, but only returns to his or her original nature.

This was the heading of the site my nephew found, he informed me aboout it, u will find many who returned back to their relegion that they were born for to worship one God, ALLAH. U will find different sectors, Priests, scientists, women, children even. This is to answer back to those who say that those who embrace Islam are only addicts or ignorant and poor people. Allah Almighty will spread Islam instead of all the ferucious effort to attack and kill it, it will spread and it will spread peacfully

by will of Allah as it did before.

http://www.welcome-back.org/

Below some examples of those who returned :

1- Waa’il Abdul Salaam is formerly Austin Roe. Now 13, he converted to Islam by his own volition at the age of merely 10 years old. He movingly describes how difficult his childhood was and how the touch of Islam has changed his life entirely around. Many children who grow up to be aggressive or violent are often the result of their environment – whether within the home or without. They are not inherently as such. A right environment and guidance with love and mercy can make them rediscover themselves and rekindle their thought process and inherent potentials. The story of Waai’l Abdul Salaam will bear this out.

He contributed his story to Welcome-Back.org so that it may serve as a lesson for parents, doctors, as well as children.

2- Dr. Dirks is a former minister (deacon) of the United Methodist Church. He holds a Master's degree in Divinity from Harvard University and a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Denver. Author of "The Cross and the Crescent: An Interfaith Dialogue between Christianity and Islam" (2001), and "Abraham: The Friend of God" (2002). He has published over 60 articles in the field of clinical psychology, and over 150 articles on Arabian horses.

3- It all started with a computer glitch.

She was a Southern Baptist girl, a radical feminist, and a broadcast journalist. She was a girl with an unusual caliber, who excelled in school, received scholarships, ran her own business, and were competing with professionals and getting awards – all these while she was going to college. Then one day a computer error happened that made her take up a mission as a devout Christian. Eventually, however, it resulted into something opposite and changed her life completely around.

4- Dr. Hofmann, who accepted Islam in 1980, was born as a Catholic in Germany in 1931. He graduated from Union College in New York and completed his legal studies at Munich University where he received a doctorate in jurisprudence in 1957. He became a research assistant for the reform of federal civil procedure, and in 1960 received an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School. He was Director of Information for NATO in Brussels from 1983 to 1987. He was posted as German ambassador to Algeria in 1987 and then to Morocco in 1990 where he served for four years. He performed umrah (Lesser Pilgrimage) in 1982 and Hajj (Pilgrimage) in 1992

5- Dr. Jeffery Lang,(“Dad, do you believe in heaven?”

When young Jeffery asked his father about the existence of heaven as they walked their dog along the beach, it was apparent that this child possessed a highly inquisitive mind. There perhaps was also a sign that he would subject things to a logical scrutiny and validate them from a rational perspective. Little surprise was it, then, that one day he would end up being a professor of mathematics, a matter where there is no place for anything but logic.

These are a few examples of those who have intellect, who are well educated, rich people, who reached to beleive in God's onnes. May Allah the Mercifull help more to reach the light those intellectual persons reached. All u need is a bit of right thinking, read the experience of those people who returned to their creator submitting of his onnes, I pray to Allah the Mercifull to show those who are lost the light.

Salam,

The stories of people reverting to Islam continues.

What do revert mean?

Those who embrace Islam and become Muslims are referred to as reverts not converts, because all people are born Muslims.

According to Quran and Sunnah

The new Muslim or Muslimah revert retains the blessings for all good deeds performed before reversion to Al-Islam! Yet we are forgiven for our past sins upon embracing Islam! Masha'Allah!

Hadith - Sahih Bukhari (#70) and Muslim

Hakim ibn Hizam said to the Prophet , "You know that in the days before Islam I used to maintain family ties, free slaves, and give charity. Will I be rewarded for any of those deeds?" The Prophet replied, "You accepted Islam with all the good you did in the past.

The Noble Qur'an, Al Anfal 8.38

''Say to those who have disbelived, if they cease (from disbelief) their past will be forgiven. But if they return (thereto), then the examples of those (punished) before them have already preceded (as a warning).

Reverts must not obey a parent or anyone who attempts to influence disobedience to Allah, subhana watala.

The Noble Qur'an - Luqmaan 31:14, 15

''And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination.

But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do.''

Hadith - Bukhari (#47), Muslim, Dawud, and Tirmidhi

Kulayb ibn Manfa'ah told us, "My grandfather asked the prophet of Allah with whom he should maintain good relations. (The Prophet replied,) 'Your mother and father, your sister and brother, and then your next of kin. (This is) an essential responsibility and a relationship that must be maintained.''

Hadith - Bukhari (#25), Muslim, and

Asma' bint Abi Bakr, said, "My mother (who has not yet embraced Islam) visited me in order to restore good relations after the Prophet's treaty (of Hudaybiyah). I asked the Prophet if I should have anything to do with her, and he replied, 'Yes.' Ibn 'Uyayhan (one of the narrators in the chain) said, "Allah revealed the following concerning her: "Allah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allah loves those who deal with equity." The Noble Qur'an 60:8

I read this story of a new revert, and I was so touched by it

http://www.welcome-back.org/profile/spaulding.shtml

-Ann Spaulding-

"As a revert to Islam, each day is a challenge to me, but I know that Allah is my guide. As a new Muslim, I am, of course, not going to be perfect, and even when I end this life I will not be perfect. But I always remember Allah, and I no longer feel alone! Allah did not promise us that life would be perfect, but I know that He will not give me any burden that is more than I can stand, and that He would never leave me."

For some who claim that there are no true priests who reverted to Islam, or they did not study the bible as they should, or that they are not true priests:

http://www.welcome-back.org/profile/davi..._bio.shtml

-Rev. David Benjamin Keldani, B.D. (b. 1867)-

"Imust remind the Christians that unless they believe in the absolute unity of God, and renounce the belief in the three persons, they are certainly unbelievers in the true God ... The Old Testament and the Qur'an condemn the doctrine of three persons in God; the New Testament does not expressly hold or defend it, but even if it contains hints and traces concerning the Trinity, it is no authority at all, because it was neither seen nor written by Christ himself, nor in the language he spoke, nor did it exist in its present form and contents for - at least - the first two centuries after him."

Before he became a Muslim and changed his name to Abdul-Ahad Dawud, Rev. David Benjamin Keldani, B.D. was a Roman Catholic priest of the Uniate-Chaldean sect. He was born in 1867 at Urmia in Persia; educated from his early infancy in that town. From 1886-89 (three years) he was on the teaching staff of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Mission to the Assyrian (Nestorian) Christians at Urmia. In 1892 he was sent by Cardinal Vaughan to Rome, where he underwent a course of philosophical and theological studies at the Propaganda Fide College, and in 1895 was ordained Priest.

Leopold Weiss (1900-1992)

"It was not any particular teaching that attracted me [to Islam], but the whole wonderful, inexplicably coherent structure of moral teaching and practical life programme. I could not say, even now, which aspect of it appeals to me more than any other. Islam appears to me like a perfect work of architecture. All its parts are harmoniously conceived to complement and support each other; nothing is superfluous and nothing lacking, with the result of an absolute balance and solid composure."

Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:

196. Let not the free disposal (and affluence) of the disbelievers throughout the land deceive you.

197. A brief enjoyment; then, their ultimate abode is Hell; and worst indeed is that place for rest.

198. But, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); therein are they to dwell (for ever), an entertainment from Allâh; and that which is with Allâh is the Best for AlAbrâr (those who are obedient to Allâh and follow strictly His Orders).

199. And there are, certainly, among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), those who believe in Allâh and in that which has been revealed to you, and in that which has been revealed to them, humbling themselves before Allâh. They do not sell the Verses of Allâh for a little price, for them is a reward with their Lord. Surely, Allâh is Swift in account.

200. O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allâh, so that you may be successful. 2, Surrah Al-Imran

Ahead of Iraq Deployment, 37 Korean Troops Convert to Islam

"I became a Muslim because I felt Islam was more humanistic and peaceful than other religions. And if you can religiously connect with the locals, I think it could be a big help in carrying out our peace reconstruction mission." So said on Friday those Korean soldiers who converted to Islam ahead of their late July deployment to the Kurdish city of Irbil in northern Iraq.

At noon Friday, 37 members of the Iraq-bound "Zaitun Unit," including Lieutenant Son Hyeon-ju of the Special Forces 11th Brigade, made their way to a mosque in Hannam-dong, Seoul and held a conversion ceremony.
