Lian, You must be in a state of bliss [Image: biggrin.gif] , may Allah swt increase your love for Him and reward you in this life and the next.

Jezekelah khayra for taking the time to share your story with us. It was quite touching.

MashaAllah you are also a Hijabi, CongratulationS on taking the great step Sister, May Allah keep you always strong in your deen.

May Allah also reward the Sister who helped you and stood by you, Truly, Thats what Sisters are for.

What was your Hijab journey like? lol sorry If you feel like being interviewed [Image: ph34r.gif] , I am just curious, It's always nice to share inspirational & encouraging stories that talk about how one sacrficed one thing for Allahs sake.

I've been wearing my Hijab now for a little over 3 years The decision I made the year (2001) is one I will never regret insha'Allah. Since then, despite some of the obstacles that were thrown in my path, I have been the happiest girl alive.

I thank Allah Subhana wa ta'ala for the strength he gave us sisters to wear the hijab (Especially here in the west), the guidance He has given us, and the right personality. And I also thank Him for giving me, and all sisters, the mentality in which we do not care what others think; we solely care what He only thinks.

Quote:I felt a burning in my heart that I loved Allah so much and I didn't want to go back to the empty life that had no Islam.

That's exactly the feeling as well, i remember my feeling. It feels so long ago, when i first realised i wanted to be Muslim. An almost physically warm feeling inside as i was lying knowing Allahs words had approached me. From that point on my life has changed for the better, a lot of pain but worth it.

Wow good story though, right now i'm at the stage of still wanting to learn more. You should see my stack of Islamic books, don't get enough time with them thanks to work [Image: dry.gif] But it's always good to hear a story like this [Image: smile.gif]
