A Beautiful Hadith .. And So True About Life
#11

Asalaamu Alikum all!

Here is a haddith that is also a good reminder.

Hadith by Bukhari & Muslim "This world is like a bridge, cross it and do not build on it".

Wa salaam,

Or you can just put in your sig: The brother formerly known as Todd. [Image: wink.gif]

Back to the topic, I have been looking but I cannot find the text of the hadith that was in my head but the meaning was like this:

The most beloved to Allah is a man of little means, he lives in a small and humble home, he is not well-known, and when he dies, his mourners will be few.

I liked it because as people we might sometimes fall into judging a persons devotion when only Allah knows what is the truth, and maybe the one we expect is the least devoted is one of the best.

I think it kind of ties into what Abu Mubarak had posted.
