Assalamu aleikum brother,

Here are some supplications that can be said, in connection for example with the morning prayer, Fajr.

'O Ever Living, O Self-Subsisting and Supporter of all, by Your mercy I seek assistance, rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself, even for the blink of an eye.'

'None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent.'

'We have reached the morning and at this very time all sovereignty belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. O Allah, I ask you for the good of this day, its triumphs and its victories, its light and its blessings and its guidance, and I take refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil that follows it.'

Supplications when in distress.

'O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for a blink of an eye and rectify for me all my affairs. None has the right to be worshipped except You.'

'None has the right to be worshipped except You. How perfect You are, verily I was among the wrong-doers.'

U r welcome brother, and what is happening to u with your family is a test from Allah, so just keep holding yourself strong in eman(faith) and Allah will by his assistance help u from all these problems and situations insha'Allah.

I haven't told my best friends yet, i don't know how i'm gonna yet. I think i need a holiday there's too much going on around me. You don't get a chance to put things on hold in life it seems. I wish i could press a pause button on life, and develop my relationship with the creator further. There's so much to sort out it's really difficult...but, i know people are going through tests infinately more diffcult than my ones, i try to keep thinkin that. And coming here and checkin my peoples!

The best thing u said is to develop your relationship with the creator, this is the best thing to do now, just forget about everything else and concentrate on that, because the stronger the bonds between u and Allah, the stronger u will be in facing all the problems in the world, any problem will be easy to u if u find yourself pleasing the only one and only creator of this universe. Also if u reach to the point that your heart is filled with the love of Allah only and caring to please him only, then beleive me you will be stronger in your faith, and everything else will be no problem at all.

This is a hadeeth by the Prophet(PBUH), it is actually a prayer which u can read after prayers:

Volume 9, Book 93, Number 534: in Sahih Bukhari

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

Whenever the Prophet offered his Tahajjud prayer, he would say, "O Allah, our Lord! All the praises are for You; You are the Keeper (Establisher or the One Who looks after) of the Heavens and the Earth. All the Praises are for You; You are the Light of the Heavens and the Earth and whatever is therein. You are the Truth, and Your saying is the Truth, and Your promise is the Truth, and the meeting with You is the Truth, and Paradise is the Truth, and the (Hell) Fire is the Truth. O Allah! I surrender myself to You, and believe in You, and I put my trust in You (solely depend upon). And to You I complain of my opponents and with Your Evidence I argue. So please forgive the sins which I have done in the past or I will do in the future, and also those (sins) which I did in secret or in public, and that which You know better than I. None has the right to be worshipped but You."

this is very powerful, say it with strong beleif in your heart and it will help u a lot.

And this one shows u how Allah(SWT) will come closer to u if u rush to him :

Sahih Muslim, Chapter 1: EXHORTATION FOR THE REMEMBRANCE OF ALLAH, THE EXALTED

Book 035, Number 6471:

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, thus stated: I am near to the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My Heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him.

May Allah bless u and help u with all that u r going through, Ameen.

I echo Radiyah's words here adding to it that physically we never take care of anything. So dont busy yourself with taking care of things, busy yourself with Allah Allah Shall take care of things in a way that is beyond your realization.

"<b>And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).* And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him</b>
" (Quran 65:2-3)

Woo 101 posts, who would have thought it not me. I look back at this first post i made and still remember how i feel. In fact i feel very special and i thank the islamsms.com team for having it pinned up here. I have progressed so much, and i have learnt so much from you guys here, who have made my journey from Agnostic to Muslim so much easier. Coming on here every day has helped me immensly. I don't feel i am worthy of a pinned post, even now. And i thank Allah for the kindness everyone has shown me. I think all new Muslims should come here who are alone as i was. As it's very tough but even more difficult without Muslims around you, just wanted to say thanks to you guys for keeping me on the right path. I hope i remain strong in my faith like everyone here has.

Allah even helped me with my Music & Girlfriend situation. My girlfreind and i were speaking for hours about God / Islam last a few nights back. And to see the spark of understanding in her eye was a sign of Allahs love and help to me. But whenever i got close to asking her things like...."what is it inside your brain that looks at the electrical signal that sends pictures to the brain, what is it that sees that?" and she would say "well the spirit" but still not belive in a God, and lock up in her conversation when it comes close to her beliving. But to even be able to discuss it with her, when she previously wouldnt have give it the time of day is from Allah.

Well just wanted to say thanks to you guys. Insha Allah this board will remain here for the rest of our days.
