Quote:and the question of how we came to exist can be answered out side of gods word..

If I understood u correctly, u mean how we came to life?? without quoting Quran.

As u know we take Quran as our source of knowledge. Allah Told us how He Created mankind from Adam.

IF this is what u mean let me know

Thank you yes, that is what i meant. I just worded it badly. I didn't mean Evouloution as such, because that to me is a fallacy, a weak and completely fabricated explination for our being. The words of the Quran completely crush evoloution as Darwin explains it. Plus Darwin himself never belived in a lot of his own words it seems. So i would suggest http://www.evolutiondeceit.com/ to anyone who belives in Darwins to be quite honest ridiculous beleif.

I was trying to say no one has shown me anything more solid to my eyes than Gods word. So even if people take some of the verses etc claim things about the prophet still no one has presented me with anything as solid as the Quran. And i can't see how they will ever be able to. I understand some of my questions may come off as seeming disrespectful but please don't take them that way. I have much reading and learning still to do. Thank you so much everyone for your warmth, i havent felt anything like it. I still wish to read this freedom faith, and other sites more, another one i enjoyed was http//www.welcome-back.org Stories of reverts like myself. All while learning to pray correctly, and trying to stop my girlfriend i love more than anything from leaving me and taking my child too, my beautiful daughter i cannot live without.

Challenging times...

it seems every day i face something since becoming a Muslim!! This could be more proof put toward me that God has seen and called me? I already worry if i will make a good Muslim as i cannot live without fully questioning, which some could see as me being disrespectful, or unsure with my faith. I see it as apreciating gods gift of free will to us, exercise it if you will. Thank you Muslimah for your patience with my madness! And others who have read through http://www.freedomfaith.org please post your views here, or PM me. Your brother is asking for help in what's proving to be challenging times already!! I havent even been a true muslim for more than a week! I see now why those who follow Islam are strong minded and have strong warm hearts...

I'll be back.

Anyabwile, my brother, don't let other people tell you what they THINK the qur'an is saying. Go get one and read it first. Do not do ANYTHING else until you do that. Ask the questions that YOU come up with while reading the qur'an. It is your religion now. Treat it as such. Don't let others tell you what your religion is about, especially a website whose sole motive is to slander Islam.

Have you ever read the bible front to back? That book is chock full of discrepacies and unsavory events, incest, drunkeness, adultery... (these are just what the bible claims the prophets did.) The people from this website are not trying to "spread truth." They are trying to persuade people to think as they do. Give me a break. I have come across this website before. I Praise Allah that I studied the basics of my religion before encountering such bull.

My advice is once again to read the whole qur'an. Try not to worry about anything else until you accomplish that task. It will be hard but I believe that it will be best for you.

As Salam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu

Thanks i feel you may be the right thing to do, i'm glad no one has seen my words as disrespectful. It's just as i'm sure you understand theres a lot to take in, especially these accusations against the prophet alongside verses from the Quran and the things about women? I find these very difficult. But yes, i should be reading the Quran also, that makes sense. Another question i have, is there ONE english translation of the Quran or many? If so which one is the closest to Arabic and which one should i seek out.

as salam alykom my dear brother who is tested on his first week of coming back to his Lord

Just rest assured we will never take any of what u say as disrespect. Brother, we live our lives to learn, some live their lives searching and never come to the truth. Alhamdulelah Allah Helped u take the most important step and u crossed the border safely. I am sure u r focusing on your prayer which I encourage again and again. If u want my opinion, which of course u r not obliged to take, focus on Quran, such sites are nothing but a waste of time. Alhamdulelah u realized there is Allah, they are defending their falsehood because people like u is a threat to them that is why ali came to the site. Any way, Insh aAllah u r not showing madness. Allah Is Testing u to see how will u stand, how will u compare with His presence in your life. Again and again, make prayer and ask Allah for Help and guidnce.

Now as long as u realized the Existence of Allah the Creator. Who else could have made us exist. Alhamdulelah u just reworded your question.

I am still waiting for more points.

REgarding english translation, I would suggest more, with respect to my brothers here:

www.qurancomplex.com

http://quran.nu/

Being a translator myself and Alhamdulelah native arabic speaker I highly recommend them both

Assalamu aleikum new brother,

InshaAllah you get some words of advice on the way, here is some more.

It is not difficult to be a Muslim, it is the most natural state to be in. We are all born Muslims, BUT some of us has lost our way somewhere on the line when we took the wrong path. But also many of us returns home, before there is not time to do it. Alhamdullillah.

BUT one thing that often are more or less DIFFICULT when returning back is to ADJUST to being that newborn Muslim again. And it DO take time. Give it time, don't force it. As said here already, try to focus on the Qur'an. Read the Qur'an in English, to get a comprehension of the content. And listen to the recitation of the Qur'an in Arabic, the beautiful language of Allah, SWT. Do it daily, since you will use His Words on a daily bases, during your prayers.

Since you mention that you also read conversion-stories, I think that is also a good help to strengthen your iman, your faith. I read a lot of them in the beginning, tears never wanted to stop running, it was such a comfort. There are many to read, mashaAllah. I can recommend one site if you have not found it already. http://thetruereligion.org/modules/xfsection/.

i want to speak the truth

and the truth is jesus christ is our saviour.

there is 3 of them.

i will probably get kicked off here now that you know im a born again christian.

God does not want us to fight in holy wars like your master bin laden says.

the bible actually predicted sept 11 attacks if you read revelation 9:11 from the king james version.

please answer me have you actually felt God come down upon your soul?

if not the following prayer will be your ticket to eternity:

the Prayer that changes Your Eternal Destiny :

"Father, I thank You that Jesus died for me.

I confess I have broken Your laws. Forgive my sins.

I receive the pardon right now. Lord Jesus,

come into my life. Give me a new heart with new desires.

And by Your Spirit,

give me the power to live a life that is pleasing to You.

Thank you for forgiving me as You promised.

Thank You for the gift of eternal Iife."

If you prayed this prayer:

- prayed it with sincerity and a true heart -

then you can be assured that the Lord has prepared a place for you in heaven.

Congratulations and welcome to the family of God.

No matter what you've done in your life,

you've received a full pardon in God's eyes.

That's how easy it is for you. But it was not free

- it cost God the life of His beloved Son in your place.

Just thank Him for such love to you.
