Music is very beautiful. God has never prohobited it.


Say: "<i><b>Who has forbidden the nice things that God has brought forth for His servants and the good provisions?" </b></i>Say: "It is for those who believe in this worldly life, and it will be exclusive for them on the day of resurrection" It is such that We explain the revelations for those who know. 7-32


And do not say regarding what your tongues describe with lies: <i><b>"This is lawful and that is forbidden;" that you seek to invent lies about God</b></i>. Those who invent lies about God will not succeed. 16-116

Hasbuna Allah wa ni'ma Al- Wakeel


They refuse the sunna so that they will translate the Quran to their own evil whims. these ayat do not include singing. and singing is haram, there are the Islamic nasheed that is halal, but other than that is haram.

Sobhan Allah, I really read so much about this issue, but the end result it is haram. one can easily witness the impact of music on the heart specially and nafs.

It does not say anywhere that, music is haram.


Personally, music is one of the things that helped me overcome my depression.


Don't know why you say it's haram when the Quran never says so. [Image: rolleyes.gif]
