Quote:And for your information, I have read the Quran. I found it very hard to follow because there was no logical organization to it; just jumped from one topic to another.
Hi ronniv how are u. Well I totally disagree with u and this is not true, it has a very logical and beutiful organization, and each verse is connected with the other, the problem is that u u c what is in the surface, the Quran is not a blunt plain book, it is words of Allah, so to understand them there must be translations and explanations for his words, each Surat has its own purpose and reason, and what it seems jumping from one topic to another is really the contrary it is in the same topic, u just need to learn more and more, here where comes the sciences of the Quran as I said before, from the Quran u can derive many sciences, the most important is the science of the Ahadeeth of the prophet which translates the ayas and verses of the Quran. The Quran containes short and right to the point. One verse and this is considered to be the longest verse in the Quran talks about debt and trade rules, then followed by a shorter one:
Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:
282. O you who believe! When you contract a debt for a fixed period, write it down. Let a scribe write it down in justice between you. Let not the scribe refuse to write as Allâh has taught him, so let him write. Let him (the debtor) who incurs the liability dictate, and he must fear Allâh, his Lord, and diminish not anything of what he owes. But if the debtor is of poor understanding, or weak, or is unable himself to dictate, then let his guardian dictate in justice. And get two witnesses out of your own men. And if there are not two men (available), then a man and two women, such as you agree for witnesses, so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her. And the witnesses should not refuse when they are called on (for evidence). You should not become weary to write it (your contract), whether it be small or big, for its fixed term, that is more just with Allâh; more solid as evidence, and more convenient to prevent doubts among yourselves, save when it is a present trade which you carry out on the spot among yourselves, then there is no sin on you if you do not write it down. But take witnesses whenever you make a commercial contract. Let neither scribe nor witness suffer any harm, but if you do (such harm), it would be wickedness in you. So be afraid of Allâh; and Allâh teaches you. And Allâh is the All-Knower of each and everything.
283. And if you are on a journey and cannot find a scribe, then let there be a pledge taken (mortgaging); then if one of you entrust the other, let the one who is entrusted discharge his trust (faithfully), and let him be afraid of Allâh, his Lord. And conceal not the evidence for he, who hides it, surely his heart is sinful. And Allâh is All-Knower of what you do. 2, Al-Baqara
A whole entegrated science of law in one long verse, who can do that? just look at the various laws of each country how many books on such a topic, while in The Quran it is in one single aya.
and also the money inheritance law look at the aya below:
Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:
11. Allâh commands you as regards your children's (inheritance); to the male, a portion equal to that of two females; if (there are) only daughters, two or more, their share is two thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is half. For parents, a sixth share of inheritance to each if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased left brothers or (sisters), the mother has a sixth. (The distribution in all cases is) after the payment of legacies he may have bequeathed or debts. You know not which of them, whether your parents or your children, are nearest to you in benefit, (these fixed shares) are ordained by Allâh. And Allâh is Ever AllKnower, AllWise.
12. In that which your wives leave, your share is a half if they have no child; but if they leave a child, you get a fourth of that which they leave after payment of legacies that they may have bequeathed or debts. In that which you leave, their (your wives) share is a fourth if you leave no child; but if you leave a child, they get an eighth of that which you leave after payment of legacies that you may have bequeathed or debts. If the man or woman whose inheritance is in question has left neither ascendants nor descendants, but has left a brother or a sister, each one of the two gets a sixth; but if more than two, they share in a third; after payment of lagacies he (or she) may have bequeathed or debts, so that no loss is caused (to anyone). This is a Commandment from Allâh; and Allâh is Ever AllKnowing, MostForbearing.
13. These are the limits (set by) Allâh (or ordainments as regards laws of inheritance), and whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ) will be admitted to Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), to abide therein, and that will be the great success. 4, Al-Nisa'a
Again 3 verses which contain a whole science, tell me of one man or even a league or confideration that can produce a whole law within one or 2 pages. no one ronni but Our Creator.
then another thing if u read any book, the author will tell u at the begining " excuse me if there is any mistakes or faults in the book, sorry for any inconvinience, we look forward to rectify", and the man made laws, is always changing and rectified, and every book is changed and rectified except The Quran, never changed and it starts with :
Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:
2. This is the Book (the Qur'ân), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqûn [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allâh much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allâh much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)].
2, Al-Baqara
It says no doubt, never does it say in any verse sorry for inconvinience, sorry for lack of information, or sorry for anything. No doubt. I hope this will let u stop a bit and think, and to understand the Quran and that verses are related to each other u must study it thoroughly the Quran is not just a book to read or a novel that u read while u r going to bed, it is a way of life it is the word of Allah, so u must dig deep down in the core of things to understand it.
And beleive me ronni no1 is arrogant here, this is just self-confidence and not arrogancy, we are sure we are right we have no doubt that Allah is one, never had a wife neither did he have a son, neither did he need to come down to earth.
Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:
171. O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allâh aught but the truth. The Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), was (no more than) a Messenger of Allâh and His Word, ("Be!" - and he was) which He bestowed on Maryam (Mary) and a spirit (Rûh) created by Him; so believe in Allâh and His Messengers. Say not: "Three (trinity)!" Cease! (it is) better for you. For Allâh is (the only) One Ilâh (God), Glory be to Him (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allâh is AllSufficient as a Disposer of affairs.
So just again I ask u have another stop and look deep inside, and not just what u c on surface ronniv. May Allah enlighten your heart
Peace
