Actually I tried to go to the sites you've listed, but I can't reach the links. I'm not sure why. I have no problem with reading these any think you offer up.
I believe you when you say you believed Saddam was evil. I'm not doubting that. I'm wondering why the same hate for the Americans. I wonder why there's no out cry against terrorism when 30 kids get killed? That's the part of Islam I want to understand. Forgive me that I'm amazed by these things.
When I watch the news at night and see Jews run over homes of people in Palestine and feel sorry for the people. Then a story of how many children were killed in the effort by the Jews to find terrorist. Then 30 kids killed by a terrorist in an effort to kill one American handing out candy. Then I see a man get beheaded by someone claiming to be for Islam and so I wonder. I wonder more when people tell is the Americans killing their own soldiers and those 30 children what kind of people are we dealing with and how many believe this? Then someone suggest that very thing on this board and ZERO Muslims rebute that statement.
I was looking for the more social aspect of Islam. I guess this wasn't the place to meet to discuss social issues with Muslims about life and not just relgion. I'm looking for answers as to why people celebrate in the streets when other people die? Why someone in Kuwait would hate the very people that freed them from Saddam?
I guess it doesn't matter. Nothing is going to change. Terrorist will keep on killing in the name of Islam. Muslims will keep on saying it's wrong, but we've had things done to us so it evens things out. Jews will keep on killing people in Palestine. The hate will just keep on flowing.

Dear Mega,
The problem of Islam is not the religion but the failure of imams, the Organization of Islamic Countries, the Islamic NGOs, the politicians. There is no unity. Look at the Arab countries, though they share the same religion, but they can't eye to eye. The Iraqis hate the Saudis, the Saudis despise the Iranians etc. Why? Because each of the leaders are concern for their own well-being. There's no unity for the sake of Islam. The OIC's voice is that of a purring cat instead of a roaring lion. They forgot they represent billions of muslims. But what happened when murder and terrorism of innocent lives and states are committed in the name of Islam. No word of condemnation from them. Same with the Imam and the NGOs.
There is no morals. What abt Al Jazeera? Well, they appears to be one sided in their reporting. They should look at the issue from social and moral standpoint one that is shared by the global community.

That was the best response I've seen yet. Thanks for the information.
One more question.
Are Kurds considered Muslims and if so why are they hated so much? Or does it just seem that way? The pictures of what Saddam did to those people was horrible.

No Prob Radiyah, it is just the point whether they really need the info then helping them find it and read will be fine. If they dont read, then the aim might be like just starting new thread with their names on it, draining our efforts which we may dedicate elsewhere. Like I said Alhamdulelah if one browses the board before posting their questions, Insh a Allah they will easily find answers.

well if they dont then we dont need to repeat ourselves, we might as well spare our time and effort. For we agreed of course non muslims are more than welcome to ask questions, if the answers are not alread available several times. Then tackling the same issue again is nothing but a waste. since our intention is not accumulating a large number of posts or just making a presence.
