An Open Discussion Among Muslim And Non Muslim Members Here
#11

Quote:And the other question: why would God, even if He could do such a thing, actually choose to do sacrifice Jesus? Is there no easier way? Well think for a moment what it would mean for God to simply forgive everyone.... He would have to forgive some very evil people, like Hitler... people who were cruel and inhumane, and obviously deserve to be punished. If God forgave people like that, then what would that say about His sense of justice? So you say, ok, not the really bad people like Hitler, but how about God forgives everyone else? Well is there *anyone* on earth who was perfect - without sin? If there were, then God could forgive such people, without being unjust. But if God forgives people who *have* sinned (such as me), then is he not being unjust?
So really it comes down to God's justice... he had to find a way to be perfectly just, while at the same time forgiving sinful humans. It is my belief that through Jesus, God was able to do this... to forgive everyone who believes in Jesus, yet retain his complete justice. It is a complicated topic, so just ask if you want me to clarify it.

from this passages we can came to one conclusion. if you believe in Jesus, you'll be forgiven, if you don't, you'll go to hell, right?

which also means that as long as we believe in Jesus, we can do anything evil in this world, yet still God will forgive us? ooohhhh.... so that's how 'justice' means eh?

Qutuz jazakum Allah khairan katheeran, I know it was not an easy task for me too, I spent like an hour using key word of mudar Sobhan Allah.

Alhamdulelah jazakum Allah khairan

No problem Intuition, our intention is known only to Allah, just keep in mind always that u r reminding people that they may be wrong regarding a fundamental issue in their lives and if they have to consider, it will involve major changes. It needs much courage and support from Allah sister and most of all, need a sincere wish from the person to find the truth, but in the course of finding the truth they go through stages, of fear, concern, refjection, and many others. I m not a revert but I can understand how they feel.

We have to keep this in mind [Image: smile.gif]

Lifutushi I like this Insh a Allah may Allah makes it beneficial

so that there would be a way for humans to know what God was like. The reason Jesus calls himself the "Son of Man" is because he wants to show us that we are no longer separated from God, but he is here with us, and understands our experiences.

Mash a Allah Wel_mel welcome back we did miss u, I just hope amikula would be here and not go away for long times

amikulau r obviously confused just look at the statement I quoted, how would we know what is God is like if he came in human form just like all of us

here is another quote of yours "he simply decided not to use them."

if he decided not to use them my question would still stand, who ran the univers. Your replies would not be sufficient.

Now as for this point, u really seem very confused:

"actually choose to do sacrifice Jesus? Is there no easier way?"

I didnt say easier, I said better way that is adequate to a God of Mighty, a God who is capable of protecting, guiding, sustaining, gaurding His servants.

Now he sacrified Jesus, who is Jesus, God or son of God, if he is God incarnate, then would God love the servants more than himself, God has emotions then and favors, but la hawla wala qowata ila billah, a God must be of a mighty power and nature. Find is he is son of God that makes it even more confusing, first a god would have parental emotions, then again loves the servants more than his only son... ......... just ponder amikula

Salam all my brothers and sisters,

i really did miss all of you too [Image: smile.gif]

well, the idea is that MOST of Christians sects believes that the father is God and the son "Jesus" is God and the holy Ghost is God but they are not three Gods but one God, and they told us that they are EQUAL, then logicaly by the death of Jesus on the Cross for three days or for even one hour we can immediately conclude that God the father and God the holy Ghost also died, OR ELSE we cannot call them one and we cannot call them equal., also in the church i have learned that you are not allowed to say in the name of the son and the father and the holy spirit, and also you cannot say in the name of the holy spirit and the father and the son, YOU MUST start by the name of the father then the name of the son and lastly the name of the holy spirit, if these three are really equal and ONE then you can start with any NAME of these so called equal.. but it is forbidden.. why ??? because they are really not ONE and they are really not equal. [Image: huh.gif]

one more point to ponder for whoever is a CATHOLIC in here..

in your sunday mass you pray as follows.

I believe in God the Father ALmighty, the creator of heaven and earth

and i believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, OUR LORD, who was conceived BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRT.............

wow, anyone can notice now that God in your prayer is THE FATHER THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.. but the confusion is coming now, Jesus is also YOUR LORD, so how many Gods do you really have ? if the father is God and Jesus is the Lord, therefore you have 2 Lords [Image: dry.gif][Image: cool.gif]

and the shock is that Jesus in your prayer was CONCEIVED BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRT not by the power OF GOD THE FATHER, therefore, Jesus is not the son of the father, but the son of the holy spirit......... [Image: dry.gif][Image: cool.gif]

well, its better to wait for amikula anyway,

Salam

The Devil Tempted "God" For 40 Days:

"And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness. And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan." (Mark, 1:12-13)

The Devil Tempted "God" Continuously:

"And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season." (Luke, 4:13)

Like the Sinners, "God" Was Tempted In All Things:

"But (he) was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." (Hebrews, 4:15)

True God Cannot be Tempted With Evil:

"God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man." (James, 1:13)

Only The Ungodly Are Tempted With Evil:

"But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed." (James, 1:14)

now, tell me, is Jesus a MAN or a GOD?

Quote:Actually God cannot be unclean and act as human do. A human child is born from his mother’s womb through the reproductive organ with clot of blood in an indecent way; A God cannot born through such ugly way.

That is entirely opinion. Who are we to say what God can and cannot do?

Muslims say it is wrong to say that Jesus is the son of God - they say such assumptions are an error. Then the Muslims say things like what I've quoted above - stating what God can and cannot do.

For any man to say what God, the creator of the Universe and all things that fill it, can and cannot do is perhaps the biggest error man can make.
