as salam alykom sister
I know I might be a bit late, but better than never,
See Quran say:"
O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded." (Quran 66:6)
The Ayah is very clear and direct commanding us to avoid ourselves and our family members hell. It is a must to keep reminding the brother of what is haram and what is halal even under harsh reactions from him. when was the road of dawa carpeted with flowers. Never, we must endure the hard reactions that may be triggered under such conditions. If your husband knows that this is jihad, he will continue and concurrently makes dua for the brother to improve.
