Hey all,
    I have taken all your advise into account and their are just some things that don't add up:


1. What about when I excercise (i.e., jog in the street)?


2. What would I cover up so extensivelly to the point where I cannot breathe and become so sweaty it's gross.


Bottom line is that if I were to cover up here, I would be a social outcast. No man would ever marry me. We are moderate and modern muslims.

How are u sister Djana, Alhamdulilah that u have taken our advice in account, that is by grace and aid from Allah.


Now about your questions.


1- As brother lifutushi answered, it will never stop u from exercising. Now in UAE and Syria and Oman, there are women working in the army and police and they are wearing hijab, it did not stop them did it? and what is jogging compared to army and police sector .


2- U will breathe why not, do not let the shaytan get into your heart, I live in Kuwait, in summer the tempurature reaches from 50-70 degrees, u will c everybody walking and jogging by the seaside but after 5 o'clock, because before that it is very dangerous, we sweat yes that is good and healthy it will throw out excess poison in the body through sweat, and makes u healthier, and it will keep u in good shape, and of course in Kuwait, there are a high percentage of women wearing hijab, and they walk and jog, I walk wearing black abaya, ok u have to sweat, so what, then go and take a shower, so simple .


3- Why would u be a social outcast, aren't u in a muslim community, and even if u r not in a muslim community, arent u a muslim, if any1 made fun of u or whatever just read the verses of Quran about hijab loud out to them, and say I am a Muslim, and I am proud of it, and I am obeying Allah's orders. Beleive me the man who will want u without hijab means he does not deserve u, because he is showing his positions off to other men, and that means that u r cheap in his eyes, but then if he had a precious diamond, he will put it in a velvet after velvet, and vault after vault, afraid that people will steal it away from him becasue it is so precious. So what do u say, a man who will show u off to others to steal, or to keep u precious and special for him. You have a live example talking, when I wore Hijab my family was mad at me, my mother told me( may Allah bless her soul): no1 will marry u, u look ugly with it, I said: I don't care, the important thing that I was obeying Allah. In less than a year I was married and I have 5 girls now, so u c Allah will reward u for obeying him sister, and if not in this dunya, he will in the Jannah Insha'Allah.


Now I have a last thing for u, sister read more about your relegion, about Sahabiyat in Islam, about our Mothers(Our Beloved Prophet's wives) and u will c that hijab is not an obstacle in your way, on the contrary it will preserve u and make your life better. So if u wore the hijab, others will follow u then c how much reward u will get from Allah(SWT), u will get the reward of all those who followed u, don't u want that? don't u want to join the prophet in Jannah and have a drink from Al-Kawthar river in Jannah by his noble hands, don't u want his mediation to Allah for u, sure u do u r a muslim woman and u are proud of it . May Allah by his grace guide u to the right path.
