True brother, but I thought it would be different when it comes from a woman specially Egyptian u know how they perceive polygyny here :shock: .
Well Michelle one more point, u know what actually creates the problems. Of course women jealousy is accepted and known even to the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. But most importantly is that the first wife takes it as a devaluation, lack of love, and that she is being incomplete. While a man may have thousand reasons for re marrying non of them related to this. Based on this assumption, she makes him feel guilty. Treating him with this assumption in the background of her mind affects the relation. While to him, he did nothing haram (forbidden to Allah). He did not commit adultry. He just got married. In some cases the second wife feels favored. Whereas it is only Allah's Will that brought her on board. See Michelle, to me I see that the second wife had a share of provision to be given by the husband. It does not include only money, but provision is more comprehensive than that. How would she gets it unless she is married. Now I think I am getting too far. I feel as if I am discussing it with one of my national peers. Well I don't want to prolong the post really.
