the Muslim/Muslimah owe his/her brother/sister an advise and our prophet (peace be upon him) ordered us to help our brother when he commit injustice by guiding him and so....i believe that your response which is quoted is extremely harsh and unfair....the comparison is a big mistake. i don't agree with 90% of what Ibn_Kumuna35 said in his post though.

Jazakum Allah khairan katheeran for the advise, Insh a Allah brother Abunuran will take it in consideration. Yes it is not only harsh, we can not simply lable someone as such.

I didnt get a change to fully read your post, however, building on another post in which u referred to us muslims trying to pin our problems on something such as colonial acts, Jews or so.


Pls refer to Quran I think we are common on using it as source:


"Many of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) wish that if they could turn you away as disbelievers after you have believed, out of envy from their ownselves, even, after the truth (that Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم is Allah's Messenger) has become manifest unto them. But forgive and overlook, till Allah brings His Command. Verily, Allah is Able to do all things." Quran 2:109


"Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) till you follow their religion. Say: "Verily, the Guidance of Allah (i.e. Islamic Monotheism) that is the (only) Guidance. And if you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) were to follow their (Jews and Christians) desires after what you have received of Knowledge (i.e. the Qur'an), then you would have against Allah neither any Wali (protector or guardian) nor any helper.


." (Quran 2:120)


"And they say, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided." Say (to them, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), "Nay, (We follow) only the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), Hanifa [islamic Monotheism, i.e. to worship none but Allah (Alone)], and he was not of the mushrikun (those who worshipped others along with Allah)."


(Quran 2:135)


"They ask you concerning fighting in the Sacred Months (i.e. 1st, 7th, 11th and 12th months of the Islamic calendar). Say, "Fighting therein is a great (transgression) <b>but a greater (transgression) with Allah is to prevent mankind from following the Way of Allah, to disbelieve in Him,</b> to prevent access to Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah), and to drive out its inhabitants, and Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. And they will never cease fighting you until they turn you back from your religion (Islamic Monotheism) if they can. And whosoever of you turns back from his religion and dies as a disbeliever, then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will be the dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever." (Quran 2:217)


Look at how Quran is stating their position, we can not deny this can we brother Ibn?? In a way or the other, they strive to destroy. Brother we must be very careful not to let our major concern for the image of our religion drag us into an unwanted area.


U simply dont know for example what is happening to women who choose willingly to abide by the Islamic dress code in Tunis, some of them are raped before the eyes of their children, another her father was harshly beaten in front of her own eyes for not being able to force her take it off and so forth.


U just collected all cases, taking info from western media, and decide accordingly.
