Ibn, you make a lot of sense, <i>most</i> of the time. I feel you slipped up when you fell into the blame game at the point in your argument where you state, "Had it not been for the colonizing West and the amoral Zionists we'd be a great religion once more".
If anybody is responsible for Islam, surely it is the Muslims and their spiritual leaders/teachers or lack thereof ?

When I made that statement (Had it not been for the colonizing West and the amoral Zionists we'd be a great religion once more) I was being sarcasitic towards those who actually believe that the West and Zionists are the problems for all our ills in the world.
