Alright, time to go Catholic.
Here's the deal: Yes. God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are all one. Can God be finite and infinite at the same time? Yes. Because according to christians, God is sweet and can do whatever he wants.
When dealing with the bible, you have to note the one huge difference it has with the Qu'ran... it wasn't written by any one guy. In fact, neither God, nor Jesus had anything to do with it. A bunch of other people wrote it so each book has contradictions to other books. Maybe Matthew had a really bad taco for lunch one day and wrote some passage about burning in hell forever. Then the next day Mark just got a raise at work and decided to write something about Jesus being all-forgiving and stuff. So, it's all a matter of which guy you want to take seriously.
Being Catholic, the one general rule I learned was don't question anything christian. If the bible says God can do something, then he can. Maybe he has magical powers. Maybe he was bit by a radio-active spider like Spiderman. It's not our job to know. Hope that gives some perspective. I'm available for further Catholic questions should you have any.
