Allah did not forbid his believing servants of having Jews and Christians as friends.. this verse was talking about the Jews and Christians in the time of "one of the prophet's battles" it was not talking about each and every jew and christian..


The Qur'an also tells us in Chapter 5, verse 82 - Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, we are Christians: because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.


so you have no right to say May Allah curse them, because among them are good and sincere people, but the majority of them are perverted transgressors.


well, this is not an argument brother and sister this is only my opinion according to my little understanding. Jazakum Allahu khiran.

What I have produced are not my own words, they are copied and pasted from the tafsir of Ibn Kathir. If you have a problem with Ibn Kathir's opinions or understanding then that is between you and him and I suggest you take it up with him on Day of Judgement.


As for me cursing the kufaar, again, this is what Ibn Kathir wrote and I did not write this from myself.
