However, I find it HIGHLY ironic that so often America is chastised for being so violent, and Islam is held to be peaceful and understanding. Then I see a smilie holding two guns to look \"cool\" (nice sunglasses I guess?). I don't how this can show any self expression that is inline with Islam.  

For the rest of your post - I appreciate it, as I do all of your teachings you have given me on Islam.
