Who is the next president of the US of A?

Asalaamu alikum,

I have not read this whole thread but I agree with you sister. I don't think it matters much at all who is the next president of the USA. Certainly we cannot expect them to change the condition of the Muslims, this must be done by the Muslims themselves. And the best place to start is with our ownselves, and insha Allah reaching out at a local level showing our neighbors truly who we are and what Islam teaches us, let them learn about us, and see that we are descent people so they don't rely on American media to tell them who the Muslims really are. Maybe if we open our doors to our neighbors, and are true to our beliefs people might begin to take a more serious look at what Islam is rather than just believing the streotypes. It's just my opinion, and I am sorry I have not read the whole thread.
