(Assalam)
Ok I am much calmer now although this last post by you Muslimah is kind of aggravating (not sure why this hostility).
The meanings of your posts are very clear no need to ponder over and over, also there was no rushing in any decision as none was made. All I offered was advice and a reminder, but I will exempt you from further advice and reminders since it gets on your nerves and under your skin. (anybody else who would like to be exempt too, plz sign up now as I will not refrain from reminding and advising the brothers and sister when they do slip).
The Du’a you mentioned has nothing to do with the subject.
If there is a danger out there that threatens our Ummah that we were told about in the Quran and Sunnah and I am trying to address it instead of a nonsense discussion, and people turn around and say that its not their duty and we only want to focus on ourselves, then you are not following any of the Quran and Sunnah.
Ask yourself, why is it almost 45% of the Quran is stories about the jews? What did we learn from that? How does it reflect what is going around us now?
How many Ahadith talked about the jews? How did we apply it?
Here is the most famous one:
Sahih El-Bukhari
Volume 004, Book 052, Hadith Number 176.
-----------------------------------------
Narrated By 'Abdullah bin ‘Umar: Allah's Apostle said, "You (i.e. Muslims) will fight wi the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, 'O 'Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.'"
Volume 004, Book 052, Hadith Number 177.
-----------------------------------------
Narrated By Abu Huraira : Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."
Are we prepared for this? NO. Could it happen today? YES.
You will turn around and say that is why we need to start with the Aqeedah first which you already said.
Most people have a good Aqeedah already look at all those marches in the universities in Cairo and around the world, Muslims do want to go for jihad, it’s just that the time hasn't come yet.
When an admin and a moderator on an Islamic site that 100s of people visit on a daily basis come out and say it’s not my duty and we only need to focus on becoming better, think of the effect it could have on weaker Muslims.
You should NOT have said those comments or at least thought twice before doing so.
How can you say that you are following the Quran and Sunnah when all these warnings have been mentioned 1400 years ago, others before us knew the danger, followed the Quran and Sunnah and implemented them, that is why they succeeded in stopping that danger and are way better than us, and that is where we are failing.
All I can do right now is point out these dangers to the Muslims and I make Du'a to Allah that one day I will be a martyr for Allah cause. (ameen)
